This is a superb place to stay. The room was lovely and clean when we arrived. The location is superb so convenient to both the Louvre and Notre Dame. It is easy to get around as the Metro is just a couple of minutes away. The area is pedestrianised. There is also a great selection of restaurants.
There are narrow stairs so it is not ideal if you have mobility issues.

location was superb - walking distance to everything and loads of bars and restaurants near by .
toilet/shower did not have heating so it was cold when you need to go to the toilet ( we were there in January)

The location was absolutely fantastic. The staff we spoke to were excellent, including the help via WhatsApp. The building felt safe and secure.
There were a number of things broken - the bed was broken (the board underneath) meaning that you sank down when you sat / slept on it, one set of shutters didn’t work, and the shelf on one side of the bed was off the wall and put in the wardrobe. The shower wasn’t great - we had to run it for a long time to get any hot water. There was construction work happening to the building next door, which obviously cannot be controlled, however there was a velux window above the shower, meaning that any workmen on the scaffolding could have seen us in the shower.
