Spülmaschine zu klein, muffiger Geruch in den Schränken (haben wir in einigen Häusern am Meer festgestellt)

Atlantic Waves is easy to find from the directions, with straightforward parking and a beautiful view. It's within easy walking distance of the station (4 mins journey to St Ives) and Carbis Bay beach. Carbis Bay itself is a very hilly location, as is much of Cornwall and St Ives, and well worth the effort to get to such beautifully sandy beaches and clear blue seas. The apartment is very bright, clean and well stocked. The bedding is beautiful quality and we had excellent long sleeps in the comfy beds whilst staying there . The furniture is much better than many holiday lets and is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with premium quality tableware and Neff appliances as well as a very useful small dishwasher. On arrival, a lovely welcome package had been left for us with everything we needed to refresh and revive after our long drive. We didn't need any support from the owner as everything worked perfectly. There are some lovely places nearby to eat or relax and we had a delicious meal and great service at The Gannet just down the road.

There was nothing not to like but just be aware that if you have difficulty walking you may want to take a car to other locations rather than walking up/down hills. This is not a negative by any means, just be prepared.

Comfortabel huis, fijne zithoek met grote banken, goed uitgeruste keuken, heerlijk groot bed, zalige douche. Eigen parkeerplek was ook heel fijn.

The location was brilliant. The apartment was lovely and well equipped. Bed was so comfy.

There was no hand soap or washing up liquid, small things but would be welcome on arrival. There is a noticeable smell of damp, could simply be because of the time of year and it's not aired enough, the extractor fan in the bathroom was not working so could also be part of the cause . These are all fixable, and the apartment itself it is really lovely.
