Very well equipped kitchen area, comfortable lounge area, TV and a very comfortable bed. The shower room was also large. Great homemade scones on arrival and lots of little extras not expected - shower gel etc.

The room was great but the lighting was quite shadowy, most noticed on early evenings. Not really a problem.

The apartment was lovely, the pictures don't do it justice. The bed was comfortable , a real gem. Wished we had booked for longer.

Could do with a clock in the lounge. TV stations Limited and poor reception, could do with free sat . Or as I did use a tablet on WiFi.

Excellent stay, highly recommend

Very comfortable beds, large living room/kitchen area, and beautiful back garden. The owners gave us fresh scones upon arrival which was a very welcome touch! The local town is a short walk away, with a number of good pubs, especially the Roadside Tavern.

A Truly Wonderful and Welcoming Stay!

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The communication with the host was superb, incredibly responsive and helpful. We received such a warm welcome upon our arrival, which immediately made us feel at ease. The host went above and beyond, not only providing excellent information about the surrounding area but also sharing some truly valuable insider tips that helped us discover hidden gems. The apartment itself was incredibly cozy and lovingly decorated, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It was evident that a lot of thought went into making guests comfortable. We were so impressed that no utensils were missing – we had absolutely everything we could possibly need, even spices and oils for cooking! The bathroom was also fully equipped, to the point where you almost wouldn't need to bring any toiletries of your own. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and genuinely welcoming experience. Thank you for an amazing stay!

If we had to offer tiny suggestions for improvement, a few board games would have been a nice addition for a relaxed evening in. Also, the television was mounted a little high for comfortable viewing, but these are truly minor points in an otherwise perfect stay.

A very rejuvenating place to stay while travelling.

Very clean, comfortable and peaceful. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The host Mary was so friendly giving us lots of suggestions on what to visit and leaving milk, butter and fresh biscuits when we arrived - would definitely recommend this as an excellent place to stay while exploring the area.

Great, friendly stay in beautiful location

Great location, easy walking distance to town. Well equipped apartment, clean and comfortable. Met by Mary who was very friendly explained everything and gave ideas for touring the area .We used the new free minibus shuttle on her advice to visit Cliffs of Moher.

Lovely, well-equipped apartment and charming host

The apartment is in the loft of the building and includes a bedroom area, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen/dining area. All very cute and cozy. The apartment was well equipped and the host had left some delicious scones for us as well. Everything worked well, parking was right in front, and the location was very central to the Cliffs of Moher and surroundings. But above all, Mary, the host, was super engaged and helpful and our conversations with her were always enlightening and delightful. We enjoyed our stay here immensely.

Circulation in the attic loft apartment was a bit of a problem. Both end windows had to be left open to allow cross-ventilation but this could be challenging in inclement weather.

We stayed in a self-catering apartment on the 2nd floor up two short flights of stairs. Everything looked pristine. Comfortable furnishings, bed, blackout blinds, well-equipped kitchen area with everything to hand, very well thought through. Plus lots of little extras that made it stand out from other self-catering accommodation, like a stash of good quality reference books about the area, good lighting and lamps, home-from-home. A lovely touch was a couple of scones with butter and jam for when we arrived. We were extremely happy with everything in the accommodation. Our host Mary gave us a short overview of the accommodation and the area, which was appreciated.

We had a little difficulty finding the place as there was no sign outside, and we didn't trust our sat nav, but once you know where it is, it is obvious. Look for the flower planters directly below the drive.

The location was perfect for our needs. Mary was helpful beyond words; she always responded very quickly and was most kind and generous in her offerings and help. Anything we missed in the kitchen, Mary provided for in seconds. It is beautiful room and suited our needs very well and we loved staying there. Cannot recommend it highly enough

Lovely comfortable apartment and had a great nights sleep in the comfortable bed!

Very comfortable space, lovely decor and very well equipped for self catering. The lavender pillow mist and the scones upon arrival were lovely touches.

There was a lot of noise from the occupants above until 11pm on both nights which was annoying.

Beautiful apartment

Great location, just 5 minutes from village centre, and Lisdoonvarna is in the centre of everything you might want to do in Clare. Very, very clean with everything you need. Really well equipped kitchen, towels and shower gel in the bathrooms etc. The apartment was warm and cozy. Mary the host was very nice, and had some delicious scones prepared for us. Highly recommend.

beautiful apartment, gardens and place!

We had the perfect holiday here. We wanted real gardens and this was it! Beautiful with flowers and places to sit and read in the garden. We sat out front for a distance view and out back for the veranda and flowers. Very comfortable and clean apartment. Comfie bed like this is hard to find and I'm picky. This was a newer remodel (2023)

We had perfect sunny and warm weather for our entire time. I know that's not the norm for the area. It might be a different experience if stuck inside as there's no apartment terrace. But we were there to see the area and it's a lovely drive to many wonderful sites worth seeing. Our host gave us wonderful tips for where to park and routes to take. We really appreciated that!!

A large kitchen and a very convenient location for the Aran island. Mary is a lovely host.

Excellent stay.

My stay at Ballinsheen House was really lovely. Mary and Michael are lovely hosts . My apartment had everything I needed and fittings and furniture were of the highest grade. Being picky here but I love a bigger bath towel and Robe would be the height of luxury! Thanks Mary, I hope to be back.
