Beautiful, warm, comfortable, historic guesthouse in fantastic location with great hospitality

Carnside is a fantastic place to stay. The building is a beautiful historic building, updated inside to provide every comfort. Carnside is so handy to The Giants Causeway and all that the Causeway Coast has to offer. The room was fantastic. It was roomy with a very nice ensuite bathroom and amazing views over beautiful countryside and coastline. The bed was extremely comfortable. Danielle was very professional, friendly, helpful and provided a great breakfast with a choice of Continental Breakfast, which is substantial and an excellent cooked breakfast. Carnside Guest house has a lovely dining room for breakfast and a guest lounge with an amazing panoramic view. There is plenty of parking and a Hot Tub experience with a beautiful view with a fun Farm for kids to enjoy. Danielle gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Grays Hotel just down the road which was wonderful - a wonderful venue, staff and meal also - along with a 10% discount voucher. I highly recommend Danielle and her Carnside Guest House.

Exceptional and worth every penny

Bedroom was quiet, warm, and comfortable, I slept the best here of all the places I stayed on my trip. Location was walking distance from the causeway and the breakfast was delicious, you can really tell that the hosts care a lot and are passionate about the causeway

A memorable two days on the Causeway enhanced by our stay at carnside

The guest house is in a wonderful location near the Giants Causeway with paronamic sea vews. We had a very warm welcome. Breakfasts were excellent and the room was clean and comfortable.

Truly wonderful farm stay

Lovely farmhouse a 25 min walk from the causeway itself. Being there felt like stepping into a movie where everyone is overly kind and welcoming in the best way possible! Sitting at breakfast, which was amazing home cooked food and breads, and chatting away with friendly travelers and the family that runs the house was a highlight!

Our double room with bathroom wax warm, comfortable and quiet. A good bathroom, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast included and plenty of parking. Just across the paddock to the Giants Causeway. Spa pool available for hire.

One of the most picturesque stays so far in our 21 day journey of the UK

Absolutely a delightful place to stay. The views of the giant causeway and her farm were spectacular. We had a view from our bedroom and from two different sitting rooms. Lots of room in the bedroom. Would stay anytime and for longer periods of time. Cause way was about a 20 minute walk. Town for dinner arrangements was about a 10 minute drive.

Beautiful views

The location was great, right next to the Giants Causeway. The landscape and views were beautiful! Parking onsite was plentiful and convenient. Great breakfast. The local town, Bushmills was lovely and we had a great dinner at Bayview Hotel.

We didn't really appreciate the lady who was serving breakfast telling us she "only has two hands" when we politely asked for some more milk for our cereal. Maybe got her on a bad day. The farm smells are pretty rich, but that's what you get when staying on a farm. The whole place is pretty dated considering what we paid.

Perfect for a family stay

From the moment we arrived, everything was great. We were greeted by a very friendly host who clearly has passion for what she does. The room was perfect for us as a family of 5. Kids loved the facilities outside including mini farm, go karts, zip line and especially the sled track! To top it all off, the cooked breakfast was excellent and in particular the various types of home made bread. Location is great, close to the Giants Causeway, Bushmills and Portrush. We would stay again if in the area. Thanks

Countryside views and a very nice breakfast

The guest house is located on a small hill in the countryside, so you can see the sea in the distance. The room and the bathroom had all we needed. The owner was attentive and the breakfast was very nice, with a good variety.

For some, it can be a place difficult to reach or in the middle of nowhere, but we appreciated the tranquility. The bathroom is a bit smaller.

A perfect stay in Bushmills

What an amazing stay! The guest house was easy to find and incredibly close to the Giants Causeway. The room was cozy and we had everything we needed during our stay. The owners were just lovely and run the Guesthouse seamlessly. They also prepare and amazing breakfast! We would highly recommend staying here!

Marvellous stay

Best location at best price, cleanliness, staff including Danielle herself was great. Our stay was just 1 night but we wished we could stay longer. Our room had best view, breakfast was great too. Will love to come back here again. Thanks Danielle and your team

Lovely stay very close to Giants Causeway

The host was a very lovely woman who was very friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t be beat for the price. Very close to Giants Causeway and the Antrim coast. The room was a great size for our family of five and very clean. The breakfast that was provided was great. A fantastic stay for a quick trip up north.

My sisters and I (all in our 70s) had wonderful stay, the young lady who owns it was a delight. The room was big , had help with luggage and the was plenty on parking . Breakfast was delicious. The Giant Causeway is within sight.

Absolute perfection!

Location, location, location! Beautiful views! Hot tub add-on was to die for! Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful! Honestly, this was probably my favorite place that we stayed.

This was very minor, but the TV in the room is pretty small.

Near the Giant's Causeway

Brittany and her staff are doing their best to make guests feel welcome in a property that is clearly past its prime. The location drew me to book a room - definitely is within walking distance to the Giant's Causeway. There are also nice properties close by with restaurants. Sadly, the property needs updating. Everything was clean, but beds and bedding need are just not what one would expect. Breakfast was fine. Fresh bread and items on the buffet. Cooked breakfast was basic.

The entry road was a bit rough for wheeling suitcases but this was not a problem with the guesthouse.
