Really nice staff members

One of the most social hostels in Europe. Very easy to make friends.
The guy at the reception was super friendly.
All good. Keep in mind that you need to take a bus to the old town or walk for 45 mins.

Large hostel with a proper hostel vibe, perfect for socialising. Whatever minor issues happened they were immediately addressed and with kindness and understanding and this matters the most, priceless and unforgettable. To be seen and heard with genuine patience and interest was awesome

The cleanness it’s not the best

Beds are fine and rooms have AC
The staff was rude and insulted me. Couldn't leave and get a refund. No kitchen access for guests. Bathrooms are always soaking wet and muddy. Meanwhile, the showers are always clogged and falling apart. Definitely in need of repairs. The individual light switch for the lower bunks are completely inaccessible from the bottom bunk as the top bunk blocks it entirely. There also seems to be no quiet hours as nights are loud with lights entering into the rooms and no blinds to make the rooms darker at night.

The location is good. It's not a long walk to the old town, but also a manageable walk to the bus station! Beds were comfortable and there was A/C!
There are not really any kitchen facilities. Most HI hostels provide breakfast in the price. Here it's an extra charge. Considering how overpriced Dubrovnik has become, this is not a surprise.

Haven’t been in classic HI hostel for so long, kinda appreciate how it is so spacious and have proper facilities that some new gen hostels lack. Location is good, 20 mins walk down the slope to old town (but up the slope if you walk back) or a very short bus ride. The place is well maintained and clean overall. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They even sold a daily bus pass at a lower price than the bus ticket office. I had a wonderful stay, thank you.
A few sets of steps to go up from the street, I managed fine with only backpacks.
No private power socket at the bed. And the mattress is a bit old that it wasn’t the most comfortable, but ok for me.

nothing really
the wifi does not work at all, when we told the staff they said we needed to get a sim as the wifi doesn’t work. you have to make your own bed and strip your own bed so when someone arrived into the dorm at 2am they spent 10 minutes making their bed when everyone was trying to sleep. the female bathrooms do not give much privacy at all, when you step out of the shower you can directly be seen by anyone walking past in the hallway. it is cheap for the area but for what you’re paying hi hostel is awful. would not recommend

The staff were super sweet, including the cleaners. The common area was big and there's an outside spot as well, makes for easy socialising. The bed was comfy! Pillows were fluffy. Good aircon in the room if you wanted it. Big lockers. Little kitchen area (kettle/microwave/fridge). Clean bathrooms and showers. Spacious rooms. WiFi good. Feels like a hostel that's been around the block a few times and knows its stuff!
A couple nights I was there some of the other roommates bought random people back. Another time they left the main door wide open after they left when I was sleeping! It might be nice to have a more solid rule about bringing strangers in or explaining to people they should close/lock the door! Not so much of an issue for valuables as there are good lockers but just a bit of a weird feeling knowing any old person could wander in (though I know it's more an issue of inconsiderate roommates/newbie hostellers).

The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. The place was clean and comfortable. Even the shower heads were attached to the walls properly, a rarity in hostels! The bar next door, Mr Foster, is equally well located and great value.
Not a thing.

Nice cold AC in the room, large lockers for bags, staff were really nice.
NO KITCHEN. Even though kitchen is advertised, it's only open to staff, not guests, making staying here very expensive since there is nowhere to store or prepare any food. SO MANY STAIRS. Stairs to get to front door, stairs to dorm on 3rd floor, etc. BED BUGS. Didn't notice until I was checking out (I left early in the morning and there were no staff around to report it to) but ended up with bites all up and down my arms. VERY LOUD AT NIGHT despite rules saying there are quiet hours. Guests do whatever they want because staff are not there to enforce quiet times.

Very friendly staff at the reception. It was unusual that they remembered every conversation and even my name, and were interested how was your day. It's worth a lot to find such a team. Regarding hostel - the bathrooms were clean and so were the rooms. The suitcase could be left in the luggage room after check out. Hostel has a good terrace view and a good location, around 10-15 min walk to an Old city.
Wi-Fi was a little bit slow. Kitchen most of the time was closed. But you could ask for the keys at the reception. There were lockers for clothes in rooms but bring your own padlock (If you are a frequent traveler, I think you know about it)

A receptionist, of Argentine nationality, resignified my trip and improved it a lot with her kindness, hospitality and all her suggestions.
My stay was unbeatable thanks to her attention and all her advices

Really central, check in was available early and air conditioning was brilliant
Hard to get to due to construction work

Friendly staff, good location and room with a balcony was amazing!
The showers were tempremental - sometimes it would be a very cold shower. Also main bad part was no kitchen - except there is a fully functioning kitchen just only for staff use! This makes the trip to Dubrovnik so much more expensive as you have to pay for food etc

Was in very good location place, close to old town. Around many buses terminals. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free wi-fi.
Booked a seperate room, thought will have a seperare room with one bed, but had a dormitory room. With small windovs from which can not see view. As was high up in the cellings and had blinds. Room was very small. There was toilets on each floor but on one floor one toilet did not worked. Bathroom was just in one floor.

Location is great and friendly staff
Good value for a money
There was no hot water on the evenings and bathrooms are not the best.
There were some troubles with some guests I heard that someone walked into one room and went throw others things… Well I heard that twice once I been there but obviously we can’t control people but is wired that happened

Close to the old town, nice terrace area
Not the most social hostel and the kitchen is only for staff even though it says there is a kitchen available for use

The staff were very kind once I had checked in very late to the hostel. They showed us to our room and looked everywhere for an AC unit for us. Unfortunately nothing was found except for a fan, and that's the one problem I had with my stay.
As I mentioned just that my room did not have an AC unit in it. The staff went and found a room fan for me and my friend. We had to keep the windows open with the sounds of insects and cars passing all morning, it was the one disruption I was unhappy about. The lack of AC in my room was not described beforehand.
