Sofitel Singapore Sentosa

Liked: staff (Peter (always a smile and helpful sight-seeing suggestions), Penny, Alson and all of the beautiful humans in this complex, not one bad experience- the friendliest and most attentive team I've ever met), room size, comfortable beds and brilliant house keeping service, buffet breakfast and buffet dinners were a highlight but all the food here was delicious, the foot fish massage section was a novelty and the kids loved the pool, the FREE regular shuttle bus to the rest of Sentosa and across to Vivo City and MET lines. My 9 year old daughter actually cried when we left...after 10 nights it had become a home away from home :)

It is currently going through renovations (much needed but didn't affect our stay at all), the gym at The Raffles was slightly bothersome but a lovely complex once delivered there by shuttle or golf cart.

Our connecting family rooms were spacious, comfortable, nicely renovated, and exactly the configuration we had booked. The hotel pool was large and enjoyable for the whole family, with different depths suitable for adults and children.

Although the rooms were renovated, many of the hotel’s common areas and facilities felt dated. Check-in was very slow. We arrived around 1:00 PM, but our room was not ready until approximately 3:30 PM. Check-out was also slower than expected. Beach access was less convenient than we anticipated. The resort is elevated rather than directly on the beach, requiring a long staircase down to the shuttle area and then transportation to reach the beach. The spa and gym were also unavailable at the resort due to renovation and were located at another hotel, which was inconvenient and reduced the overall resort experience. Overall, it was a good stay, but considering the high price, the value for money was disappointing.

Really well located, close enough to everything, but far enough away to feel peaceful. Love how you feel in nature!

Location is great. Staff amazing.

There is renovation work going on at the moment, which we were not told about when our booking was made. Very noisy around the accommodation blocks during the day with workers erecting scaffold, compressors on and general noise. From what we were told by staff the work will be ongoing for many months.
