Pension Ondarra Autocheck-In

Very easy to access the room with simple self service instructions. Excellent location. Great Air Conditioner. We had an issue with a slow draining shower that was taken care of promptly. Fridge for us to use and nice cold filtered water in the common area was good.

We stayed for 5 nights and so did not get a full room clean - just a refresh. We did not get clean towels. After visiting the beach there was inevitably sand tracked back to the room which was not possible to sweep or clean up as no tools were available. The bed is really uncomfortable- very soft and sinks inwards when two are in the bed, and slightly tilted so your feet are higher than your head. Walls are quite thin - so you do hear the neighbors

Excellent location, room nice and big, very comfy bed, great to have the coffee provided and communal fridge.

As we stayed for over a week it would have been good to have the bin emptied or even a quick room clean, or have the cleaning equipment left for us to do it ourselves.

Location is very central, no matter what I wanted to go, I found it convenient. I guess for the city and location the value was quite good. For a short stay, I think it's quite alright, if you're not fussy.

I would suggest 2 simple things that would make the stay more comfortable: - soap dispenser in the bathroom instead of the small block of soap (becomes worse the longer the stay is) - put up 2 hooks for the towels, somewhere, anywhere. It's already a small space, not having anywhere to hang towels is quite inconvenient. The only major problem I had is with noise, there's a lot of weird noises at night which are somewhat loud (I am pretty sure all or most caused by the aircon), and you can easily hear doors closing (they bang loudly) and coffee maker in the common areas, so earplugs are necessity. I couldn't get a very good night sleep any night here unfortunately. But the location and value are the trade off to this.

We really enjoyed our five-night stay at Pension Ondarra. The room was modern, very clean and well equipped. On arrival we were not able to access the property as our code hadn't been authorised, but one very quick whatsapp call and it was remedied very quickly - great responsiveness and customer service. We would definitely recommend this place and would certainly stay here again. The balcony overlooking the street was a lovely outside space and the communal area, shared fridge, water dispenser etc was spotlessly clean and very much appreciated as was the coffee machine :)
