The BoHo Loft VIE

The apartment was truly wonderful-very clean, cosy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed, and the heating and hot water worked perfectly. Our child especially loved the lovely and original decorations. The location was also very convenient. A large supermarket and a pharmacy were nearby, and the final stop of tram 42 was just around the corner. We could reach the city centre in only 15–20 minutes. It is a peaceful and pleasant neighbourhood where you can experience the special atmosphere of old Vienna. The host was extremely kind, welcoming and helpful, and we are very grateful. We would gladly stay here again!

Das Apartment hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ist funktional und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch: Zur Straßenbahn sind es nur etwa drei Minuten, zur S-Bahn rund zehn Minuten, und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Check-in und Check-out über die Schlüsselbox waren sehr unkompliziert – besonders praktisch, wenn man, wie ich, erst später am Abend anreisen kann. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Das Bad ist in die Jahre gekommen,Dusche klasse,dennoch renovierungsbedürftig.

The location is excellent — one of my favourite parts of Vienna, very well connected by public transport, with great restaurants and shops nearby, and away from the touristy areas. This is exactly why I chose this apartment.

Unfortunately, the apartment looks considerably older than in the photos, which seem outdated. Maintenance and housekeeping also need improvement, and there was visible mold on one of the walls. Unfortunately, my stay itself was very difficult. I arrived in the evening after a delayed flight and was informed that the entrance lock was broken. Opening the door was extremely difficult and required a video call with the host and eventually four hands to get it open. I was told it would be fixed the next morning. Then I discovered that the shower was not draining at all, causing water to flood the bathroom and hallway and reach two rooms. I ended up cleaning the water myself with towels because the host could not come immediately. My first evening was completely ruined. The apartment is also on the first floor, with the windows directly facing the street. As a result, there is significant noise from pedestrians, cars and people outside, especially at night, which made it very difficult to sleep. The next day I left expecting everything to be fixed, but only the lock had been repaired. The drainage problem remained unresolved. To be fair, the host was apologetic and ultimately agreed to cancel the reservation and provide a full refund, which I appreciated. I don't think the host was intentionally unhelpful, but the property clearly needs better maintenance, renovation and housekeeping. It is difficult to understand how the apartment could be prepared for guests without noticing that the shower was not draining. The location is great, but unfortunately the condition of the apartment and my overall experience made it impossible for me to stay.
