We liked the location, private bathroom, loved that they put us in the back so that we didn't hear much of the outside noise (students out eating, partying), very responsive on text, staff always available, and they had A/C.
Although photos give the impression that breakfast is included, it is not, though you're close to a lot of pastry shops. The decor could use some modernization and it would be nice if they had laundry facilities.

Location is prime and restaurants and sights are nearby
A bit too close to the main action for Sào João festival when music and noise didn't die down till 4am. If you like and prepare yourself in this environment, you will be right at the center of happenings

The location is good, near Livraria Lello.
Though there is a bar next door with loud music until late night, the owner told us that we can change to a quieter room. We did not change as it stop around 11pm.

The accomodation is directly above a very busy bar area. We stayed on friday and saturday night and the noise from outside was extremely loud. If noise bothers you, this isnt the place for you.
