Clean. Pot and microwave oven are in the living.The lady at the reception is very kind and friendly. Location is very good. If you're coming from the airport by subway, it's best to go from Trinidad station because it's downhill. Sao Bento station is uphill. If you're going to the station from the hostel, Sao Bento is better because it's downhill.
The stairs are steep. The cafes in the square are noisy and lively until late at night. (FIFA, I stayed Friday and Saturday)

The location was excellent and the room was clean. It is fine for a quick overnight stay.
The walls/ceiling were very thin and I could hear everything going on outside very clearly. The staff was not particularly friendly. The room was very basic, but you get what you pay for.
