Value for money stay

Very central, only 5-10 minutes’ walk from the cathedral and Calle Larios, with plenty of bars just round the corner. Not at all noisy, even though it was beside a main road it was quiet on a night. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful.

The air conditioning didn’t really work - it was definitely on and blowing, but it didn’t cool down the room at all. Given that the weather was pretty chilly and rainy, we were surprised at just how warm the room was.

Great location friendly staff

The staff were very kind and helpful. They happily booked taxis and provided early check in. We were very grateful. The location is fantastic. Quick trip under 10 euros from the train station and the same to the Alhambra. We walked down from there which is the best way to do it. Lots of restaurants and bars. Thank you to the team!

Great hotel in a fab spot.

The staff on reception were lovely. Really liked ur young girl who was on. She has a great manner and a good sense of humour. We liked where it was and loved the vermouth bar on the left further up the street.

We thought we got free water every day but you get one large free bottle. We tried to get another but it would be €4.50 so we said no and bought one from the shop for 90c. Small matter really but you did ask.

Nice central hotel

Room is a bit small, also it is noisy outside, but overall location is perfect as it is very central and every attraction or location is walkable - centre, Cathedral, Alcazaba, parks, museums... beach Malagueta is maybe 15-20min walk. Breakfast has wide choice and it was nice :)

Great location. Basic clean rooms. Shower tiny. Unacceptable breakfast and unclean tables

Location is great. The breakfast was good two mornings out of three. However on day three there was no milk, no juice ,no yoghurt, no pastries or mini muffins very limited cold meats. When I complained I was told there was a problem with supplier but it was clear that they had not enough stock. No refund or gesture was offered. Also 2 out of three days there were no clean tables to sit down at breakfast as the used plates had not been cleared away and had to scrounge around tables to find clean plates and cutlery. This wasn’t ok.

The breakfast was very good although the coffee machine kept breaking down. Otherwise a nice selection.

The coffee and milk in the room was not replenished everday. So a couple of mornings could not have coffee.

Good place close to old town

Located in the best part of Malaga. 200 m from the heart of the old town . From the airport 25 eur with Uber , same by taxi. Very kind people at the reception. As we booked for the Easter period also the price was affordable. The beds were comfortable , the matrimonial bed was made by 2 single beds , but was ok.

Comfy, but noisy.

It's located next to the old town, just on the edge of the pedestrian area. The bed was comfortable and the room was super-clean and well-equipped. Also had a great flat screen TV which was very well used because of the unusually bad weather on the day of my stay.

Noise issues: The room was noisy from the street. The doors can't be closed without slamming them, so there was occasional bangs from the corridor. Walls also not sound proofed enough, there was a constant snoring coming from one of the adjacent rooms.

I liked the room very much, especially the view from my tiny balcony. I liked the location of the hotel in general. There was a good choice of dishes for breakfast. Special thanks to the friendly, helpful and responsive staff.

The room was quite small however spotlessly clean. The staff very helpful and friendly. Good location.

The only minus was the air conditioning which worked, but did not function- failed to cool the room which was very very hot.

Exellent location very friendly and helpfull staff I would stay here again.

The location is excellent for the old town a 5 minute walk to the main square. Bars and resurants are just round the corner. The train station is a 10 minute walk handy for the airport if traveling light. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had in Spain. All the usual cold meats cheese etc eggs bacon cooked veg fresh fruit yogurt different bread. All replenished when requried by the nice lady in charge. The room was servied every day clean towels bed changed once or could have been twice.

Not much not to like the bathroom was a bit compact is the only thing to say.

10 days in Malaga

The location was very good for sightseeing and was close to bars and restaurants. Housekeeping was exceptional as the room was spotless every day. Breakfast was good value for money and well organised by the restaurant staff. Reception staff(Maria) went out of her way to help during our stay.

Can become noisy at night during the weekend. Didn't have a tv/lounge area where you could sit and read and enjoy a drink/coffee.

the staff were absolutely lovely and the location was very central and close enough to both the main train station and old town.

normally noise from the street outside doesn’t bother me but it was so incredibly noisy with people yelling and screaming all night long (on a weeknight) that I found it incredibly hard to sleep. there was also a faint sewage smell, im not sure where it was coming from. I wouldn’t say it was worth the money I paid, but if you choose to stay I would recommend asking for a room that doesn’t face the street.
