It was good for a short stay as it's right in the centre of the city. The facilities are what should be expected from a hostel really. I found it to be very quiet overnight, but someone was talking on the phone in the corridor at 8am, which I'm sure the whole building could hear!

Totally recommended, did not get a chance to meet with the staff however she is very lovely through the chat to inform us about late check in. The room is very big with a nice view of the street.

Hostal Vidamia is in an old building that has been usefully and tastefully repurposed. The staff are friendly and helpful speaking different languages and helping with luggage up and down the steep stairs. The room and bathroom were clean and had eco toiletries. We had bunk beds and mine wasn't too comfortable and the bathroom was down the corridor. Both were clean and well looked after and the room had a large window overlooking the street outside. Neither the hostal or the street were too noisy though sound travels due to the stone floors. There is a fridge and catering equipment, but it is so close to places to eat on any budget, I only used the water to fill my bottle. Definitely a good find and would come back.
