Staff and location

1) It was very, very loud every night (until about 2 a.m., even later on the weekend; morning deliveries starting at 6 a.m.); windows are far too thin for such a location!!! We could hardly sleep. 2) Intense curry stench from the Indian restaurant across the street, nearly the whole time; airing was only possible in the early morning. 3) The sheets and pillowcases had stains. I reported all of that immediately, but apart from a new pillowcase, they couldn't help me. Over and beyond the mattress was far too short and also relatively uncomfortable. The faucet in the sink was very inconveniently placed. You couldn't wash your hands without touching the sink several times. There were no cupboards, so there was little storage space. All this inconvenience, and at a really high price!!

Staff were very helpful. We asked for a quieter room at the back and this was arranged. Nice plunge pool and terrace. Clean and comfortable rooms and good breakfast.

Be aware there can be street noise on rooms facing the Main Street. You can request a quiet room but these do not have balconies.

Perfect for a short girls trip!

Great location if you are going there with friends as it is in downtown and there are many bars and clubs only a very short walk away from the hotel! The hotel itself is very nice. Always somebody at the front desk to help or to open the front door if you are back very late. The pool and the solarium were lovely to use.

If you had a bedroom close to the pool it was very noisy sometimes but we didn’t really mind it.

I can't understand why this hotel only has 3 stars... Everything is perfect! 🤩 The room was a great size, with a huge and comfortable bed, spotlessly clean (rooms cleaned meticulously every day), a bathtub with a shower, and a hairdryer. The hotel's location is also perfect. The rooftop pool was spotless, and although tiny, there was always plenty of room to cool off. ☺️ The front desk staff was very helpful, and we got lots of advice on trips around the area and to Gibraltar. Thank you ♥️♥️♥️!!!! And the breakfast... Simply delicious 😋 There was plenty of everything and a wide variety... From the usual breakfast dishes like eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh bread, and local cold cuts, to a whole host of fresh fruit and pastries. The coffee was wonderful. 😍 The hotel's surroundings were the best! Still in the heart of the city, but a little off the beaten track to avoid the evening noise and crowds of tourists. Surrounded by tiny pubs serving tapas and traditional Spanish cuisine. I recommend it with all my heart!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Fantastic little hotel with excellent staff

This hotel is perfectly situated right in the heart of the old town. (and just 15 minutes in a taxi from the airport). The hotel staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful - all spoke perfect English (which was great as my Spanish is terrible!) and couldn’t be more polite if they tried from offering a special price for breakfast for my 6 year old, to giving directions around town, to booking us a taxi. The room was clean with a comfy double bed (no king size if you’re used to that though…) and blackout curtains for the morning. The room was cleaned daily including fresh fluffy towels and bedding changed. There’s a safe in the room and several plug sockets dotted around. The rooftop pool was perfect - small but there were never more than a few people in it and very clean. The decking had been newly laid but just a warning - the floor is ridiculously hot so don’t even think about trying to get from the pool to the sun deck with shoes on!! (I tried it… it wasn’t a good look…) Reviews had mentioned the noise at night. Or more, early hours of the morning. Yes it did happen. Was it loud? Yep. Did it seem like the balcony doors were open when they were in fact firmly closed? Also yes. But it was fine - at no point did it stop me or a 6 year old getting to - or staying - asleep and it wasn’t constant by any stretch. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

The location, services and staff of this hotel helped to make our stay in Malaga memorable.

We were interested in being in the older part of Malaga and the area around the Cathedral. The location of the hotel was perfect. We felt in the centre of the town. The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful.

location, friendly staff, lovely big room with big balcony. pool area and roof terrace small but perfect for city centre escape but as it was raining we didn’t avail.

street noise. we had to be up at 04:00 next day to catch early flights so went to bed early and at 22:00 there was loud drumming - a band - so much noise. there was. a parade being held to honour Our Lady so as much as we respect this being Christians I wish somebody had warned us they would be going right past our room. 😬. also upon arrival I banged my head on open wardrobe shelf and cut my head. my husband wanted to contact reception about it but I didn’t want a fuss.

I would stay at that hotel once again

One of the main plus of this hotel is location. It is placed in the heart of old town so it was easy to walk around the city without the need to take additional bus. Room was very clean and service was provided each day. Also, hotel provided iron which was very important for me :) Bed was very comfortable and sheets were clean. In addition, breakfast was serviced since 7:45 - 10:45 what was very convenient if someone likes to sleep till 9 am.

the walls are very thin I think and I ve heard everything from next room.
