The location of hotel Jacobs is not far away from the Bruges center. It took us from 10 to 15 minutes to reach the Market Square where all the shops and restaurants are located. The room itself was not big, but enough. Unfortunately, the rooms are not equipped with the A/C (and we stayed during hot wave), so additional fans in the room were pleasant surprise. There was no separate shower, but bathtub can do the deal. The breakfast was standard, like in the rest of hotels, so you can make the sandwich and enjoy the coffee for sure. Attention to the large cars drivers (e.g. BMX X5) - make sure to contact the hotel upfront and ask for the parking.

Breakfast was super complete, close walk to the city centre without being right there and hearing all the noise from the streets. Amazing views from the 3rd floor, we got lucky with our booking and got a room with a very nice view.
Staff was very very nice on arrival, breakfast and also on departure as they kept our luggage for a couple of hours as our train was later that day.
Would stay again here if we have the chance to comeback.
That the fan and light was controlled via wifi as there was issues with other rooms taking over and turning light on in the middle of the night or turning fan off and being off when we woke up.

The hotel and location was really amazing. But i had an accident inside the hotel and I being alone I was not assisted by them at all.
During my stay, i fell from 2 steps INSIDE THE HOTEL, breaking my ankle, and the receptionist was not willing to help me. I understand it was already late in the evening, but as soon as I fell I jumped to the reception and asked for ice. They looked and said: no, we don’t have. But, knowing I was Alone, and looking at the state of my ankle, they didn’t offered me any help at all, nor helped me get back to my room, which I have to go jumping on my own, as I could. I felt very disappointed and could have used some more assistance in this situation. This is why my rate is low.
