The staff was incredibly friendly, the hotel restaurant amazing and the location is perfect!

Great stay at the Hotel de Maasparel in Arcen

The room was very quiet and comfortable and it's a nice location and everything, also the price was nice for a couple. The bed was the best part, it's comfortable and you sleep right away. The shower was nice and quite spacious. Great tiny fridge for beverages and drinks. The temperature regulator works wonders.

The double single bed leaves a gap in the middle so you kinda fall there sometimes and it's annoying for a couple. The old TV's should have Smart TV sticks so it can turn them into Smart TVs for a low price, then people could watch movies on Netflix, YouTube and other things at a cost of 50€ per stick, it's an upgrade that will probably attract more people, either as a separate option when booking or on all old TVs. When you get up from the small marble table you hit your head on this frame, that is above the table, which surrounds the lightbulb (I think it should have its own independent switch). It doesn't hurt but it's annoying and the tiny mini fridge under the marble table takes away your leg space so you can't sit properly to eat or to use the table efficiently, this was room 15, I don't know the rest of the rooms how they look like. I understand it's a small room and they did their best there.

Nice location and great staff who helped me with local bike shops. Abundant breakfast. Safe bike storage while we were on a long bike ride.

Still a bit expensive by most value measures we experienced on our three week trip.

The thermal water pool deserves all kinds of praise. Good spa services

The staff is prone to financial fraud with prices - especially when renting robes and towels. The staff discriminates against foreigners outside the EU: they can move you to another room of worse quality without reason. Your objections will not be taken into account. Moreover, at night the hotel security service may come to your room and threaten with immediate eviction in the rudest form.

Need a LIFT, not good for travellers with lots of luggage as stairs steps are small.

Cosy stay, with good facilities, excellent breakfast and friendly & helpful staff

Room was very clean, comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was exceptional with an abundance of choice and delicious. Location was also superb. In the middle of the village and super close to the Hertog Jan brewery where we had a tasting. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We felt more at home than at a hotel.

The only downside was that you can hear everything from the hall way in your room. For the rest great.

Very characterful building - the rooms are very charming, like little cottages. Beautifully tendered garden. Food in the restaurant was lovely. They also have a car park, although one cannot reserve a space.

An unexpected treat on our last night driving home.

The location was lovely - we wished we had had more time there. The food in the hotel restaurant was also excellent.

Not ideal for people with disabilities. There was no lift (no space for one in a small hotel) and a difficult flight of stairs (though short) to get to the room. However, the staff offered to help with cases, we managed .. and would stay again despite the difficulty.

Nice, cozy, attractive in center of town w/ friendly staff, outstanding meals, only steps from water

We were two couples, upstairs in modern rooms (22 and 23). Rooms were very attractive and thank goodness for airco, as it was toasty. Only drawback was the lovely beams were head level in some cases, so tall people beware. The outside space out back was particularly lovely and location in town and steps away from the water (which you can't see from older side) was perfect. We had dinner there too and it was really good and, just as important, the staff was extremely friendly. Great breakfast too!

Einfaches Hotel in bester Lage von Arcen.

Super Lage in Arcen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war im Wintergarten und es blieb kein Wunsch offen.

Das Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss und schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man hat es wohl teilweise renoviert. Ich werde beim nächsten Mal versuchen ein Zimmer in den oberen Etagen zu bekommen.

bei dem nächsten Aufenthalt würde ich dort direkt wieder buchen. Sehr schöne Zimmer, gutes Frühstücksbuffet, netter Service. Wir hatten auch abends gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden.
