Iris gave us a warm welcome and is a wonderful host. We loved the charm of this place and of course it's situated perfectly in the centre of the village. The closeby watercastle with the botanical gardes was closed at this time of the year but looks fantastic! The breakfast was great, too. We would like to come back!

I arrived to the accomodation about 10 mins prior to close and the owner greeted me at the door. She was extremely personable and even let me do laundry as I asked beacuse I had no clean clothes left from my week long adventure prior to staying here. The place has Wifi, drinks and snacks you can purchase and lots of patios and restaurants within 1 minute walk. Highly reccomend staying here and thanks for the great service!

We would come back

We really liked the comfy bed, overall the cute room and the modern bathroom were perfectly clean. Also amazing was the really friendly stuff member l. She was really helpful:)

The room was rather dark because of the small window and the rather dark lightbulb. Also the room was a little loud, not from outdoor noises but inside: we where able to hear a lot from our direct neighbors and the activities on the corridor from the other guests. Nevertheless we enjoyed our short stay, because the house ist very pretty and the crew member was fantastic. Little side fact: its very hard to nearly impossible to get a taxi in arcen. But that's obviously not the accommodation's fault:)

Great cozy location with a great host

The breakfast was exceptional, the only draw back was that it did not open till 0900. The staff was great and the cafe was easy to find.

Nothing really. If you are nitpicking it could be noisy, but that is to be expected in such an old building. Still it didn't really bother us

Breakfast was included but it is served too late - 8.00 - too late if one is travelling and the stay is just a stopover and not part of a holiday. The baker does not open until 8.30.

wij vonden de badkamer op de gang niet zo fijn. Deze is wel prive, maar je moet wel steeds over de gang.

Het personeel was super aardig. Wij mochten van alle faciliteiten gebruik maken. We werden ook rondgeleid en alles werd super duidelijk uitgelegd. Wij hebben het enorm naar ons zin gehad.

außergewöhnlich schöne & großzügige Wohnung im Dachgeschoss, mitten im Zentrum von Arcen - sehr freundlicher Empfang - bequeme Betten - tolles & modernes Bad - umfangreiches & leckeres Frühstück im benachbarten Restaurant (welches auch für Mittag- / Abendessen empfohlen werden kann!!) - kurzer Spaziergang zum Schloss und zu den Schlossgärten - ein Steinwurf zur Maas - besser geht´s eigentlich nicht :))

Fantastische ervarinn

De gastvrijheid van Iris was fantastisch. Zo begaan met haar gasten. Een verschrikkelijke lieve vrouw. Ze vertrouwde ons ook totaal met alles. In deze tijd kom je dat niet vaak meer tegen. Je voelt je zo welkom. Echt een zeer mooie warme ervaring.

Ontbijt was prima. Je kon je wensen kenbaar maken . Dat was trouwens in een restaurant verder op

In de badkamer hangt een enorme riool lucht. Niets om even je mond te spoelen na poetsen. Ook geen prullenbak in de kamer. Het is alles een beetje armoedig. Koffie ergens in de keuken, in de morgen was hij niet schoon en liep over.

Hele fijne accommodatie in een prachtig Arcen.

Was een leuke locatie met mooie "ouderwetse" kamers waaronder kamer met heuse bedstee. Aardige gastvrouw, sinds 6 weken eigenaar van deze mooie B en B. Goede bedden, lekker geurende handoeken en gastvrij ontvangst. Een heuse aanrader.

Ontbijt was op locatie elders. Daar ging snel verandering in komen zo vertelde de gastvrouw; 'Gaan zelf ontbijt verzorgen' Dat gaat vast goedkomen.

Heerlijk sfeervol verblijf in het centrum aan het plein met volop horeca. Leuke kamer, koffie en thee faciliteiten, en tafel met stoelen. Wij hebben heerlijk geslapen. Let op: privé douche en toilet zijn op de gang. Badjassen liggen op de kamer. Mooie schone douche met lekkere straal. Heerlijk!! ontbijt bij horeca op het plein. Op loopafstand van de kasteeltuinen.

Mooi

Wat een leuke locatie! En wat mooi nostalgisch ingericht. Heel vriendelijke host, doet haar best om je meteen thuis te laten voelen. Ik had er niet op gerekend dat het toilet en douche op de gang was. Weliswaar voor privé gebruik, maar niet vanuit de kamer bereikbaar. Verder heel schoon en netjes, super leuk om hier te mogen verblijven.

Geen kleine bedlampjes. Was ik met partner geweest dan had ik hem met de verlichting 's nachts gewekt als ik naar de wc moest. Ontbijten kan pas vanaf 9 uur in de nabij gelegen lunchroom. Niet voor vroege vogels dus.

Heel fijn verblijf tijdens onze fietstrektocht.

Gasthuis Rustique is recent overgenomen en gaat nu verder onder de naam: "De Kleine Vesting" en zodoende werden wij met aanstekelijk enthousiasme verwelkomd door de nieuwe gastvrouw. Wij sliepen in de karakteristieke Rozenkamer met uitzicht op het centrale plein in Arcen. Heerlijk ontbijt genoten bij 't Zoete Genot aan de overkant van het plein. Onze e-bikes konden wij overdekt stallen met prima oplaadmogelijkheid.

Ik heb als een roos geslapen maar mijn vrouw vond het bed wat te laag en te zacht naar haar smaak.

De plek hebben wij leuk gevonden en er een goede ervaring hebben gehad. Het is logisch om er nog een keer te overnachten. Deze keer hebben wij een andere kamer, een ander type accommodatie geprobeerd. Ook leuk! Super goede locatie, lekker ontbijt en heel vriendelijke eigenaresse, ook haar assistente. Echt een aanrader.

Het was een heel gezellig dorpje. En lieve behulpzame mensen. De b&b eigenaar was erg behulpzaam en meedenkend. Super lief niks van te gek. Heel erg aan te raden. Locatie en de comfort van de kamers super tof. Wij komen zeker terug.

prima locatie, midden in het centrum. ontbijt was heel lekker, maar wel elke ochtend hetzelfde, een beetje variatie mocht wel. eigen fietsenstalling.

's morgens was het vrij druk in de gang om gebruik te maken van de verschillende doucheruimtes, zeker als alle kamers bezet zijn.

Super leuke en stoere gastvrouw/ eigenaresse, zorgt heel goed voor haar gasten. Voorbeeld: een banaan meegeven voordat ik weer op de fiets stapte.
