Bathroom was the highlight

the beds, for starters I didn't have an option to share a big bed, we had to sleep in two beds, and then they werent exactly comfortable

This stay had the potential to be a perfect and relaxing three-day getaway for me and my partner to escape our busy work

The location was perfect, especially because I planned to visit Thermaalbad Arcen, go cycling, and it was also close to the city of Düsseldorf.

Unfortunately, there was no fridge in the room and no drink vending machines in the lobby or on any floor, which was very inconvenient given the hot weather. I had to buy one bottle of water and one bottle of ice tea from the restaurant for €10, but within a few hours they became warm again. If the restaurant had been closed, I would have had no access to cold drinks since nearby shops were also closed at that time. On top of that, I noticed the soap and shampoo in the dispensers seemed to be diluted with water, which was quite disappointing and felt less hygienic.

Bad

Very dirty room. Dryed dead mosquitos on the wall, electricity problem with the light and the tv alimentation cable,risk of fire. I notice the reception and the answer was: no tehnicienon the weekend. The paint on the walls was dirty and exfoiled. I have talk with the Manager today. Is rated at 4 stars but diserve non. I will comeplainto Booking also. I have photos to prouve.

Superb

Clean and cheap. We just stopped here when driving to the Czech Republic from England. It wasn't far from the motorway. The room was clean the furniture was older but nice and I can't complain. Staff was friendly.

Disapointed

Before I came to the hotel, I wrote a message that I would like to get a nice room with two singles beds, because I was traveling with a future bride. We get a room with one big bed and with the toilet, where the shower was full of black mold and fungus (I made a photo). I asked also to not charge my card, because I would like to pay by cash. The hotel made a preauthorization on my card, during the check-in the receptionist asked me to pay by cash. At least I decide to charge my card for this stay, the receptionist told me, that she dont know how to charg the card so she prefer to take a cash from me... No comments. We left in the same day, because of a dirty room, dirty walls, dirty window and the shower. We haven't even been there for two hours. With a 110 euro I expected better standard. At the end I want to say, that my card was authorized TWICE. Now Im waiting how it will end with the money from my credit card.

Für einen kurzen Besuch in Arcen war es in Ordnung.

Das Abendessen sowie das Service Personal im Restaurant waren super. Das Ambiente hier sehr einladend. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß für ein Familienzimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Hier hat uns nichts gefehlt. Es gibt neben normalen Kaffee auch Kaffeespezialitäten. Die Betten sowie das Schlafsofa waren bequem.

Der Herr an der Rezeption war nicht gerade freundlich. Abendessen sei im Restaurant nicht möglich, zumindest nicht wenn man an der Rezeption nachfragt.Wir haben dann online einen Tisch reserviert und konnten, wie geplant, am selben Abend noch etwas essen gehen. Das Zimmer ist sehr dunkel,da es nur an der Tür eine Deckenlampe gibt. Für die Größe des Zimmers nicht ausreichend. Die Standleuchte hat auch nicht viel mehr Licht gebracht (zumal hier auch noch eine Glühbirne kaputt war) Die Fenster haben wir mit den Sofakissen abgedichtet. Alte Holzfenster,durch die es so extrem gezogen hat. Dadurch war es nicht nur kalt im Zimmer. An einer Hauptstraße gelegen,war natürlich durch undichte Fenster der Verkehr zu hören.

de wil bij personeel om het wel goed te doen... kreeg als compensatie voor mijn klacht over het eten een kopje koffie aangeboden wel een ruime kamer.

prijs van ontbijt bleek bij aankomst hoger dan in de Booking App vermeld stond (17,50 euro ipv 13,50 euro) kwaliteit diner was matig; schnitzel was te koud en taai en gaf zeker geen gevoel van versheid. start ontbijt op zaterdagwas pas om 8u, maar was mij niet gecommuniceerd vooraf; dus ik stond er om 7:15 voor niets. de douchecabine op de badkamer lekte behoorlijk; vloer was aardig nat.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt für eine Nacht

Super Lage für einen Besuch in Venlo (Weihnachtsshopping). Kostenloser Parkplatz. Zimmer ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Föhn vorhanden. Personal sehr freundlich.

Es ist typisch sehr warm im Zimmer mit der trockenen Luft und keine Möglichkeit es selbst zu verändern. Fenster war lange offen, zur Nacht geschlossen (sehr viele Insekten kamen an, kein Gitter).

De Cuba libre aan de bar, echter wist de bardame niet wat een Cuba libre was.

Badkamer erg klein. Moest wc rollen weghalen voor ik kon zitten. Douche deuren gaan maar half open links stoot half tegen de toilet aan Rechts stoot half tegen wasbak Dit kan toch niet pfff Bedden staan los dus tijdens het slapen schuiven ze uit elkaar en dat is erg vervelend.

In de kamer lag op bedrand en lampen flink stof. Ook de koekkruimels van vorige gasten lagen nog op tafel. Pasjes bij deur werken echt slecht, ook na omwisselen.
