Walking up 39 steps one gets to an uncovered rooftop terrace with a ~22m2 bedroom with a double bed and ensuite, with a separate ~3m2 kitchenette with washing machine across the terrace. From the terrace one gets a view of the harbour and the island of Paros to the west and the old town to the north. The windows have fly netting and open fully to allow the wind to cool the room during the day, with air conditioning at night if required. If one is looking for a single double room and kitchenette with rooftop views and a breeze, this property ticks most of the boxes, however, if one is looking for a one bed apartment i.e., a space with a living area and a bedroom separated from the rest of the unit by walls and a door, this is not for you.

The room was advertised as a 40m2 one bedroom apartment, when in fact it is a single ~22m2 bedroom with ensuite and a separate ~3m2 kitchenette divided by an open terrace as shown in the photgraphs. In addition, there is no sign at the entrance, which does not help locate the property, particularly when standing on a busy narrow trafficked street in the heat, with no footpaths. There is no blinds on the bathroom glass doors, so when the sun rises, the occupants rise, unless they are wearing eyeshades.

Good location, very nice room on top of the building with view over the city. And a very nice host. All was perfect

Extremely clean bright room was good value, good location near restaurants but still quiet. Mattress / bedding / pillows were perfect. Kitchenette was well stocked. Very responsive host via WhatsApp messages. Big private rooftop terrace with partial water view to watch sunset.

There was NEVER any WiFi - the signal was so weak it would not connect. This was a huge issue for me as I had to work in Cafe’s. No possibility to store luggage before/after checkin, never met the host. Tiny bathroom with hand-held shower with no where to hang it making showering difficult and water went everywhere.
