VILLA PALMA CANARIAS

We had a fantastic week at this Villa. Really great having the heated pool, as well as table tennis and darts. The hosts were very helpful. The house has three bedrooms inside (two doubles upstairs and a twin downstairs) and then a separate annex flat (accessed from garden) with a double and single. It is about a 10min walk down to the sea (you go past the shopping mall - which is 5min walk, then over the road at the round about and head over the bridge that goes over the big motorway road. Shopping mall with big supermarket is 5min walk so its easy to get supplies (note it was closed on Sunday - but there was another one about 15min walk that was open). There is an excellent steak restaurant in the mall (kind of random location - but it was excellent - it also has a butcher shop out the front so you can purchase meat directly), easily the best meal we had there. Fairly short taxi to Siam water park.

Only things to comment on would be - it would be nice if they provided 1 or 2 dishwasher tablets for when you first get there, and more dishcloths/teatowels - there was only 1. The electricity went out a couple of times - the fuse box is just beside the fridge - once we found it, it was easy enough to flip the switch that had tripped. We didn't realise one of the bedrooms was an annex - we ended up bringing a single mattress into the main house from the annex as didn't want any kids separated from parents at night (we were two families with young children). It wasn't a problem - just something we hadn't realised before arriving - the kids loved having their own 'secret' hideaway space to play in during the day - so it was still well used.

Excellent pool & location

Perhaps have a few more bare essentials, coffee ect. But for the price I do recommend

A beautiful family villa in walking distance of the beach, restaurants and many shops.
