Julio is a friendly, coopertive and social man. With his house he offers a cheap place in the jungle. We even saw mantalins.

It is very basic and therefor very cheap.

Large well-equipped kitchen. Most of the time we had the house to ourselves and it was great to have a kitchen, a livingroom, a porch and a balcony. There's no staff unless you call - we loved it, but it's good to know 😊 Julio, the owner, is just so sweet and helpful.

There wasn't any running water (but Julio provided us with drinking water - and he's constructing a water tank to ensure that there'll always be running water). It's not possible to walk anywhere, you have to use the kayak (75Q per day) or order a boat - Julio brought us to the shop for free a few times to buy simple groceries. More (also soft) furniture would be great, especially when more people come to stay at the house - it can feel a little crowded. There is not a bar although it says so - you have to bring/buy your food and drinks.
