The fully equipped apartment features a spacious living and dining area with an open kitchen. It also includes a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. The couch in the living room can easily be converted into another double bed. A storage room with a washer and dryer is included.

A free parking space and a separate, spacious terrace with barbecue facilities are located right next to the vacation rental.

Attractions such as the picturesque Karlstal, the Gelterswoog beach, the Hohenecken Castle Ruins, the Finsterbrunnertal Nature Friends House with its adventure-filled children’s playground, and two heated outdoor pools (Trippstadt and Heltersberg) are all within a 5-kilometer radius. The local restaurant, Eichwaldstuben, offers a wide variety of dishes at family-friendly prices and is the perfect place to relax after a tennis match (indoor or outdoor). The nearest major city with plenty of shopping options is Kaiserslautern, 12 km away, which can also be reached by train. On weekends, you can also take one of the night buses back to your lodging after visiting the old town. The rural community of Schopp has two general practitioners, a pharmacy, a hair salon, an auto repair shop, a physical therapy practice, a savings bank with an ATM, a small flower shop, and two small bakeries where you can stock up on fresh bakery items and groceries. Within a 25-km radius are the towns of Landstuhl, with its well-preserved Nanstein Castle, and Pirmasens, the “shoe capital.” The Dahner Felsenland, which is also easily accessible by train, offers many beautiful hiking trails with numerous typical Palatinate restaurants and cafes. Another summer highlight is the beautiful Clausensee, situated in the middle of the forest.
