Exceptional Property with Great Host

This property was great. Stephen and his wife were very accommodating. The location was ideal. Very close to downtown. We went to Germany to see the Christmas Market in Kaiserslautern, and we were only minutes away by car. The patio was amazing. I didn't think we would use the pool table, but we did. Also, there was a stocked refrigerator on the patio with sodas, juice, and beers. They were at cost, and very cheap and convenient to have on the property. Also, the place was over Pizza Attack. Very similar to Dominoes in the US, but more on the menu. You can smell the pizza in the evening, but that was fine with us.

I would say the internet was a little slow, but I wasn't working, and we probably needed to offline for a bit, so it wasn't a bother.

Perfect stay for a weekend vacation

The location was perfect! I love everything about the stay. I would definitely book again and looking forward to it. Great host and very good experience :)

I would stay again but I wish I would have known what I know now so we could have adapted quicker.

The apartment was roomy and clean. The pool table was useful for time filler. Stocked fridge with beer, soda and energy drinks available with cash box to pay for it. Ceiling fans in bedrooms ( just need to learn to use them with a remote control). Parking space for car.

The Pizza restaurant below works late hours and can get noisy when you want to sleep at a normal time. Don’t open your apartment door too long, as the smell of cooking pizzas will overwhelm the apartment. Just have to open windows or patio door for fresh air. Needed to purchase many universal power outlet adapters to work with German outlets for all of our 120v operated equipment. Did have usb outlets to charge devices though.

Super for small groups

Super clean, really comfy beds, and the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen in comparable appartments (enough dishes and cutlery, and an electric pepper mill ;-)). Went there for a work stay with colleagues from my research group, and dining table, sofa arrangement and the big terrace gave plenty of options to sit and brainstorm :-). Very relaxed host, and supermarked in short walking distance. Would definitely try to rent this flat again for stays in Kaiserslautern.

Occasionally there was a bit of low frequency noise late in the evening, probably from a dough kneading machine in the pizzeria below. On the other hand, you have your pizza inhouse, and we used this the first evening - it was fine :-) So this is not to change, but if you are not exceptionally noise sensitive (or are able to use earplugs), you should be able to sleep anyway, and the machine stops around midnight.

Easy location and on top of a pizza place for convenient dinner in a pinch!

Location was great. Apartment is very nicely appointed and the size is great. The owner was very responsive to two questions/issues I had, one being a light that burned out and tripped a breaker. Very quickly fixe this and did not impact my stay one bit. Great place!

More electrical outlets would be useful in the rooms for phone/computer charging/use.

Amazing stay in Kaiserslautern!

Perfect location for work and relax! The owner is amazing and makes sure that you have everything you need. There is also a Pizza place downstairs which is a real delicious American pizza place!

Wirklich einzigartig!

Hervorragend technisch ausgestattete Wohnung! Sehr, sehr sauber! Das absolute Highlight: der Billardtisch, die Terrasse mit gut ausgestattetem Kühlschrank zu wirklich fairen Preisen. Wir haben den Kurzurlaub sehr genossen und werden auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Kaiserslautern diese Wohnung wieder mieten.
