Fantastic location in the heart of the village. Everything within walking distance and a great base if you are over in the lakes for hiking/biking. Keswick is also just a short walk away.

Was perfectly clean and ok for what we needed. Just an overnight pit stop for a long drive.
The pictures on the booking.com page are extremely misleading. Our booking was under ‘cottage 1’ yet there are 7 individual cottages/rooms as part of a cottage building. Information was unclear about which one was our cottage. It was dark and we were just told the keys were in the door. There were 2 doors with keys in, and it was dark and so couldn’t see nor were we made aware there was a piece of paper with our name on in yellow highlighter. There is nothing wrong with the property but it simply isn’t as advertised on the pictures and is very misleading.
