The cottage enjoys a delightful setting overlooking the village beck, lovely fell views from the bedrooms and a cosy open fire for chilly winter evenings. Braithwaite is the starting point for several great fell walks, including Grisedale Pike and Causey Pike or if you are feeling really fit/adventurous the Coledale Horseshoe takes in several fells in one walk.
