Bridge cottage is suitable for walkers, families and pet owners seeking a comfortable base, with walks from the door and the benefit of amenities close at hand. The cottage enjoys a delightful setting overlooking the village beck, lovely fell views from the bedrooms and a cosy open fire for chilly winter evenings. Braithwaite is the starting point for several great fell walks, including Grisedale Pike and Causey Pike or if you are feeling really fit/adventurous the Coledale Horseshoe takes in several fells in one walk.

Overall, an excellent holiday. The only complaint, but something that we did know about, is that the property would benefit greatly from WiFi.
