Wine Rock Hotel

Great location next to the river and in a short walk downtown. Beautiful view from the balcony where we could have breakfast, next to the river. My room also had river view which was mesmerizing. Staff was friendly, spoke Russian and English, and even if some of them did not speak English, still things got done (also because I was able to speak some Russian). 24 hr front desk open. It was possible to do laundry (extra cost). Breakfast was simple but sufficient, and varied every day. Close to supermarket, little local bakery, metro and downtown by walk. The sound isolation is not good so if you have noisy neighbors you can hear that, but most of the time luckily the people staying at the hotel were calm and quiet. I loved my room that was spacious. Wifi worked well. There were resident cats staying at the hotel (front desk and in their little palace outside), so if you are allergic to cats consider that. Staff are very willing to help you out if you need something, just ask (and don't forget to leave a little tip, that is very appreciated, despite they do not ask for that)

Sound isolation, but that is too much to ask for such old building that has other advantages. And guests were mostly calm and quiet. However, one night there was a loud group from Netherlands speaking loudly until late and that was very hearable in my room.

Fantastic cosy hotel in a great location, very close to metro station and old town with fabulous view on the historical part of Tbilisi and opposite hills. Very nice breakfast, every day was something new.

The hotel offers stunning views over Tbilisi. The hotel has excellent location to most major attractions, restaurants, and the Old Town are within comfortable walking distance. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming. Very nice small restaurant is across the road.

It would also be nice to see a larger selection of local wines available at reception, especially considering the hotel’s name and wine-themed concept.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to a beautiful park and directly across from the Old Town, with wonderful views of the city. It was an excellent base for exploring the area. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Every interaction was pleasant, and they were always willing to help with any request, which made the stay feel very welcoming. My room was comfortable, spacious, and had a beautiful view. I should note, however, that room quality appears to vary quite a bit. Some members of our group were assigned rooms on the lower floors with little natural light and limited ventilation. Fortunately, that was not the case for me - I was very happy with my room and thoroughly enjoyed staying in it.

A couple of pieces of feedback from my stay. First, the breakfasts were genuinely poor and far below what I would expect from a hotel at this price point. In fact, they were the weakest part of the entire experience. Given the country's reputation for food quality and standards, I found this particularly surprising. I would strongly encourage you to revisit both the quality and variety of the breakfast offering. Second, I stayed in one of the premium rooms, and unfortunately there was a persistent unpleasant odor coming from both the toilet and the kitchen sink. The smell would gradually build up in the room over time. It felt less like an isolated issue and more like there may be an underlying problem with the plumbing or drainage system. I would recommend having this investigated, as it noticeably impacted the overall stay experience.
