I am a solo traveller. I stay budget as possible with private rooms. Travelled Thailand several times also Bali, Philippines and Egypt as far as similar budget. I stayed here for around 2 weeks. I booked just 1 to 3 days at a time generally, through Agoda each time. Paid between *** and *** per night. My first room was a balcony deluxe room which had too much road noise for my liking. I asked for a cheaper room after the first night. The cheaper room was very quiet in which I slept peacefully. Occasionally an exterior door on 3rd floor would slam shut in the wind late at night. Needed to be shut or propped open. My cheaper room had a slight damp/mould smell which has forced me out of accommodation before but it was quite subtle so I tolerated it. To get a private room, bathroom, fridge and aircon for that price is already good value. The use of a kitchen, even though it was unclean, added great value in that I could make instant Decaf coffee for myself and cook some store bought foods. My air con was extremely good. My bed was a king size and very comfortable. I also asked for and received a 3rd pillow. Other little comforts included a quality fridge and convenient multiple power point locations. Bathroom was spacious enough that the shower wasnt directly over the toilet I couldn't open my bathroom door beyond about 70° or it hit the basin vanity. Not an issue for me at all. Staff were Pakistani (Manager who had great English, Thai, Hindi and Arabic I think) and Laosian/Burmese I believe. All very accommodating to me. One had a guitar in the restaurant area and let me play it. Location was great too, it was a short walk of around 5 minutes to a few 7eleven options. About 15 minutes to Bangla road or Beach. Not too central but close enough. Cleanliness was absolutely adequate for the price. Room service wasn't provided for me unless I asked but I never left the clean my room sign out either. When I asked for anything the staff were very helpful. Part of me doesn't want to leave a good review so its my secret and still available and affordable for my next trip. But I really appreciated the place and felt its the least I can do to thank them. I would absolutely stay here again for the price I paid. I'd even pay a little bit more but hopefully I dont have to.

Hostel is good and location are also good but need cleaning in hostel
