Sanda Plantation Hideaway

Exceptional views in a peaceful and secluded location. The thoughtful design and build of the accommodation shows - ranging from the convenient placement of light switches (multiple lighting sources! Hooray!) and power outlets, to providing multiple coffee brewing options (espresso, drip, plunger), board games for off-line entertainment, handheld torches for navigating in the dark, insect repellent, blankets as an extra bedding layer option and a plug-in fan for additional air circulation. The clever use bamboo in much of the structure design is pleasing to see, as is the use of environmentally-friendly bath and shower products. The adjacent views of rice terraces, coupled with the sound of the nearby river, will make you forget about the rush of modern-day life. If you're looking for a low stimulus environment to decompress, this is it. With a little patience and perseverance a variety of birds can be viewed passing through the property. I was very grateful for the loan of some binoculars to help me get a closer look. There are also fireflies, which are a wonder and privilege to observe, so make sure you put some time aside to step onto the balcony area after lights out at night. The property is a productive plantation and I recommend taking a stroll to see what is growing whilst you're there. There are also a few bird hides as well, which are worth checking out. We also highly recommend opting to have dinner on site- the home-cooked meals are superb. Probably one of the most unique and special places that I've ever stayed.

Niets veel tegen. Kleine tip; creëer ergens een zithoekje in de zon…ik had nu de neiging om het tentdoek aan de zonkant open te rollen maar dat was niet mogelijk. Ik houd van warmte en word blij van de zon. Misschien een mini terrasje rechts boven de Safari style tent?
