The Coastal Cottage on Third is to die for!
Completely renovated in 2017! The location is superb being six houses from the beach and three houses from the Bloody Marsh. Excellent marsh views and breezes from the driveway! The beach is a short 5 minute walk and East Beach offers sand and beach at high and low tide. The home is a mile from excellent restaurants and is located in the sought after East Beach neighborhood. East Beach was recently voted the best neighborhood on Saint Simon's Island by Elegant Island Life Magazine and with good reason! Walk or bike all around the area for relaxing trip that will renew your soul. This cottage features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen dining room, dining bar, laundry area, two porches and a private yard.
The driveway and parking will accommodate four cars. A large screened porch equipped with a ceiling fan and patio lounging furniture welcomes you. The living room features sliding glass doors, a queen sleeper sofa, a fireplace (for looks only please), and a complete open floor plan that flows into the kitchen and dining room. The living room showcases a flat screen smart tv with Hulu TV, Amazon TV and streaming of any network channels and movies you could dream of.
Bedroom number one features a queen sized bed, smart tv and has a ceiling fan. Bedroom number two also houses a queen sized bed and ceiling fan. The guest bathroom has a bathtub and shower combination and a large vanity area.
The spacious master bedroom features a king sized bed with twin trundle bed underneath, makeup vanity, a flat screen smart tv, and an attached bathroom. The master bathroom is outfitted with designer tile and has a walk in shower. Both bathrooms have hair dryers for your convenience and all bedrooms have ceiling fans.
The kitchen is quaint and very open. New appliances, shaker cabinets, tile back splash, and quartz counter tops make this kitchen a show stopper. Fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker and all of the cookware you may need. The dining bar seats four and the dining room seats six.
The front and back yards are very spacious for entertaining and the front yard features a foot wash to clean up from the beach. This cottage includes high speed internet, Amazon TV, Hulu TV, a gas grill, marsh views and an easy walk to the beach!!
Relax and enjoy at the Coastal Cottage on Third. Although some reviews mention the golf cart being included in the rental, this is no longer an amenity provided. We can provide a list of golf cart rental companies if needed.

Everything was excellent, except for a very annoying issue that prevented us from having the peaceful vacation we were after. the only thing was there was.a party across from the property backyard that was rented to a bunch of grad students. The deck on the property is directly above this property fenceline and treeline. They partied for 3 straight nights before finally getting shut down by the parents. If I were property managers in this area I would be careful not to rent to people in this age group at time of local graduations. They did not seem to care about noise complaints as we could hear the party from our bedroom for 3 straight nights. We had to have a fan on full blast and could even still hear them. We were outside enjoying the fresh air and could hear the whole party. We even had to deal with one kid that was trying to sneak out and try to exit through the property backyard. Luckily I noticed him coming and verbally was able to get him to go back.

House was really cute and very clean. Street was fantastic (e.g., moss covered tree in the middle: wonderful!). Lots of great eating places close by. Beach a really easy bike ride away. Only issue: one of the owners' bike's (green one) chain kept falling off (and you can't stop without a chain). It really isn't safe: fix it or nix it. Cheers,
