Situated just a few steps away from the Fifth/Sixth Street Entrance, this beach house offers easy access to the beautiful sandy shores. While there is a short walk down a path before reaching the beach, the anticipation only adds to the excitement of your beach getaway.
One of the highlights of this home is the inviting covered porch, complete with comfortable rockers and an easy glide swing. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or unwinding after a day of beach activities, this porch is the perfect spot to relax and soak in the coastal ambiance.

Main level: Queen Bedroom and King Bedroom (Sunroom and TV) with adjoining Jack-n-Jill Bath (single sink, toilet and shower)

Note this is a classic beach house, its not updated. Its a great value for a beach house in this location, but you will find it needs some updates. Don't let that get in the way of enjoying this East Beach gem!

The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surchages attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Everyone enjoyed staying at the house. Great access to the beach and all of St. Simons. House felt like an "old St. Simons" property that has been lovingly cared for.

We had a great time! The house was perfect for our group - our twins with their spouses and 1 or 2 babies, our college student brought 2 friends and there was still room for us.The kitchen worked well for meals and the table was big enough to seat everyone, even when other friends showed up!The weather was too cool for swimming, but we enjoyed the historical sites and long walks on the beach.Thank you do sharing your lovely and cozy old home with us!

Best aspect of this cottage- location: right next to the 5th street beach path; quiet, no traffic and a 1/4 mile walk to East Beach. Back porch great for evening sitting. Charmingly decorated. Sun porch best room in the house.Worst aspect- this property is OLD. Fans, downstairs AC--Old. Dim lighting. Upstairs BR not for adults with stairs issues. LR furniture - old and worn. Door hardware on Jack/Jill Bathrooms from early 20th century- needs to be replaced. Same for upstairs. Downstairs BRs do not have return vents for AC thus get pretty stuffy at night with doors closed. Bathrooms are adequate but small. No drip coffee maker - Keurig only.Plenty of parking. If you stay here recommend golf cart rental to take people and beach equip to beach.
