Close proximity to beach and pier village, close/walking distance to restaurants and shopping, lovely pool and garden setting with plenty of shade, cozy decorations and comfortable for large family, lots of games and books and nice kitchen for cooking.

We loved the charm and location. It was an easy walk to the beach. We also loved how less crowded the beach was in this location. It is an older home and needs a little TLC, but we didn’t mind. It was a great fit for our family. We had 5 kids and 4 adults and we had plenty of room. It would have been nice if the overlook was fixed up. The backyard was nice, but you really don’t have any views of the beach.

We recently stayed at this home on St. Simons and overall had a good experience, mostly due to the great location. It's close to everything, and the neighborhood is lovely. The house itself definitely has good bones but could use some updates. It has a bit of a shabby feel, but nothing that stopped us from enjoying our time.A few things to note: the downstairs AC doesn’t work very well. We were there during cooler weather, so it wasn’t a huge issue, but I imagine it could be pretty uncomfortable in the summer. The stove also has several burners that don’t work, which was a bit frustrating when trying to cook.The top bunk bed is really only suitable for a small child—there's not much headroom or legroom up there. That said, the outdoor pool area is nice and was one of our favorite spots to hang out and relax.All in all, the house needs some TLC, but the location and layout make it a solid choice if you’re not expecting luxury. We'd stay again, especially if some of the little issues get addressed.

The house was a good size for our group and the location is great and walkable to town. However, the house could’ve used a more in depth cleaning before hand and was a little warm.
