About this cottage rental
Welcome to the most family friendly rental on East Beach! You will be 6 houses from the surf and one mile to some of the best restaurants on the island. A short bike ride will get you to the Pier or Red-fern Village. Driftwood Cottage provides you with all that you might need for a relaxing stay. A fully equipped kitchen and basic linens mean less packing for you. Our island and the surrounding area are packed with wonderful things to do outside and our peasant year-round weather allows you do to them all. However, when you do come home to Driftwood, you'll find family games and puzzles, cable TV, DVD, and wireless internet access for your enjoyment.
The cottage is decorated with an eye for unique vintage finds. Located half-way down Bruce Lane on quiet East Beach, one of St Simons oldest, most established family friendly neighborhoods, Driftwood Cottage offers the perfect location for a family vacation or a romantic getaway for two. Very roomy, great for family time. Could use a little more detailing on cleaning ex. dining room table and silverware. But all in all I would recommend for family vacation, great location and not so commercialized area.

Visited St Simon's for a wedding and the location of this cottage could not have been better. We were able to walk to the beach wedding on 11th street and then reception, which was right nearby. Cottage was large, had plenty of space and in a great neighborhood, exactly what we needed.

Listing does not accurately describe sleeping arrangements in the big bedroom upstairs ..No blankets ..D/W was disgusting Outdoor fenced area good for dogs No toiletries provided Kitchen needs additional items .. glasses, cutting boardPoor lighting .. porch lighting was 1 light … kitchen also poorly lit ..
