Your Apartment I Brixton

Great location, easy to find and access. It’s a really lovely apartment. I was slightly worried we may have a disturbed sleep as it’s right on the main road but as the bedrooms are at the rear of the property we slept peacefully. So close to our gig at Brixton Academy- Lola Young was brilliant!

I like the space, facilities and proximity to the train station. The bus stop also was just down the building. This place was also surrounded by many food joints which was great.

Even after repeated requests the staff failed to comply! -The living room light didn’t work. -The utensils were kept dirty. -To obtain a simple WiFi password I had to struggle - the coffee pouch, milk and sugar felt like leftover from the previous guests. There was only one milk sachet and 2 sugar packets - we booked the room for two nights for three people and even after telling - we were provided none. - we got an extended check out until 12pm but the cleaner entered the apartment at 10 am which kind of scared us of. He said that he wasn’t informed.

Location is close to the underground station, and within walking distance of several shops and concert venues. It was easy to get in and out. The kitchen facilities were good along with amenities. The phone line was helpful for any issues.

The room has no air con and just a fan and was unbearable hot, especially on the top floor. The top floor corridor was also very hot. There was dried toothpaste on the bathroom sink and tissue in the toilet, presumably from the cleaners. The wifi network provided didn't work, but I was able to sort this over the phone with guest services.

Great location in the centre of Brixton

Overly complicated checkin procedure let down by bad website. Stained sheets and worn out mattress. Much smaller than it appeared in photos. Room smelled of cigarettes. Had to climb 3 flights of stairs so not suitable for everyone.
