The Hideaway in London

Location was really good. Area was quiet but easy to get into the city centre. Apartment was a little 'tired' and could do with a bit of updating, but it was pretty clean and it suited our requirements. For this location we felt it was good value.

Apartment decor a little tired. Not quite enough utensils in the kitchen to cook properly.

Everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Nice area. Felt safe walking at night. Owners gave us lots of information about the facilities and about local amenities. Easy to access property

Long walk to nearest Underground station - at least 20 minute walk. TV worked first night but only Netflix. After that we couldn’t get any internet access. We didn’t complain to owners because it wasn’t that important.

Roomy one bed apartment that feels like a house

Little bit tired, could do with a little update.

This is a difficult stay to rate, as for many reasons it was actually quite comfortable and we had lots of space for a Zone 1 apartment. However, the photos are, simply put, quite well done and make the apartment look much more modern and bright than it actually is. The location is close to tubes and nearby shops and quality restaurants, as many other reviews state. However, the apatrment itself is in social housing and in a low income neighbourhood. It has bars on the windows and doors, and is by no means a holiday or vacation property. In fact, if this is social housing I am surprised this could be rented out. Do note there are no photos by the owever of the outside. All said - the apartment was comfortable: with a well equipped kitchen, supplies there. Good location for central London
