Spacious apartment with 2 large bedrooms and bathrooms which allowed myself and my mum complete privacy when we wanted it. Beautifully furnished, looks just like the pictures and immaculate. I am always a bit nervous when I have to self check in to a property where there are no staff on site but this proved easy and exactly as described. The view from our window was spectacular. Even better equipped than I anticipated although we only had 2 nights so didn’t need to use the washing machine, oven, microwave, but were pleased with the coffee machine and pods supplied and the kettle, tea bags and milk in the fridge for our morning cuppa. Felt like a home from home and great location for exploring the city.

Aircon would have been nice. There were fans in all the rooms which I’m guessing aren’t usually there but London was experiencing an exceptional prolonged period of extreme heat. It did feel like sitting in a sauna at times! Maybe I missed it but I hadn’t anticipated the £200 charge to my credit card when completing the online check in. However, this was removed after my return. I would have liked the check in information to have been sent earlier. I received it at 9pm the evening before my stay. We were travelling from Scotland so needed to plan our stay well in advance.

I wanted something a little bit more homely than a bland hotel room for our stay in London and this really worked - there was a lovely bedroom, a sofa/TV area at the end of the bed, a table with two chairs, plus a spacious kitchen and shower room. It was all beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. When we arrived there were a few different types of milk in the fridge and some tea, coffee and even some corn snacks and a delicious bar of chocolate! I use a mobility scooter and the studio apartment was great for me - level access from the street, a lift and no step at all into the shower. The door from the street was automatic [once you put in the code], then once inside there are two doors which you need to push or pull open. The lift was spacious and all of the common areas were very clean. It's not far from Liverpool Street station which is on the wheelchair accessible Elizabeth Line and there are loads of drinking and eating options in the immediate area including Kricket [amazing Indian restaurant - they can bring out a ramp], Rose's Kitchen [accessible], Nora Cafe [one step but tables outside], The Gun [accessible].

I didn't like the fact that the automatic door onto the street took so long to close after us, it felt like a pretty safe area but this may be more of an issue on dark, winter nights. It was very hot when we stayed - not really the fault of the apartment! We got the hang of keeping the apartment cool by keeping the blinds and curtains shut when we went out, and there was a fan unit which we used when we were in/at night. Studio 101 is on the road side of the building so was quite noisy if the windows were open which they needed to be as it was hot, this was OK for us but might bother some.

Appartamento accogliente, pulito e dotato di tutte le necessità. Buona anche la posizione vicino alla metro, alla stazione Liverpool Street e a due passi da Eataly.

Unico neo il caldo. I due ventilatori in dotazione non sono sufficienti a rinfrescare l’appartamento in questo periodo di caldo anomalo. La struttura sta correndo ai ripari con delle schermature delle vetrate dai raggi UV.

Mir hat die zentrale Lage gefallen. Die Einrichtung war gut gemacht. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.

Die Unterkunft war leider deutlich enttäuschender, als es die Fotos und der Preis erwarten ließen. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt alles modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bei näherer Nutzung merkt man jedoch schnell, dass viele praktische und für den Wohnkomfort entscheidende Dinge nicht durchdacht wurden. Besonders störend war, dass es zwar eine Klimavorrichtung gab, diese aber offenbar nur heizen konnte. Gerade bei warmen Temperaturen ist das sehr unangenehm und aus meiner Sicht irreführend, wenn der Eindruck entsteht, es gebe eine funktionierende Klimatisierung. Auch das Badezimmer war insgesamt schlecht geplant. Es gab keine sinnvollen Handtuchhalter oder Haken für Handtücher, obwohl ausreichend Platz dafür gewesen wäre. Zwar war ein Handtuchtrockner vorhanden, dieser ersetzt aber keine praktischen Aufhängemöglichkeiten. Außerdem konnte man den Föhn im Badezimmer nicht benutzen, weil dort keine geeignete Steckdose vorhanden war. Das ist im Alltag äußerst unpraktisch. Hinzu kam, dass das warme Wasser nur lauwarm war und der Wasserdruck nicht ausreichte, um angenehm zu duschen. Obwohl es eine Auswahl zwischen Regendusche und normaler Dusche gab, konnte faktisch nur die normale Dusche sinnvoll genutzt werden. Auch das wirkt irreführend. Die moderne Glasabtrennung in der Dusche führte zudem dazu, dass beim Duschen Wasser auf den Boden lief. Für Duschgel, Shampoo etc. gab es keine ordentliche Ablage. Auch im übrigen Apartment gab es mehrere Punkte, die nicht überzeugten. Der Spiegel im Schlafzimmer stand sehr unpraktisch. Im Wohnzimmer war die dekorative Lamellenverkleidung an einer Stelle unschön ausgeschnitten, offenbar weil dort früher eine Armatur oder ein anderes Bauteil angebracht war. Das sah unfertig und wenig hochwertig aus. Insgesamt hatte ich den Eindruck, dass zwar einige schöne Möbel gekauft wurden, aber an die wirklich wichtigen Dinge des täglichen Komforts nicht ausreichend gedacht wurde. Für diesen Preis erwarte ich eine deutlich bessere Planung.
