The house is one of three old farmhouses on a private plot of land – you’ll have your own tranquil garden to relax in, while the pool is shared with the other two houses. There’s no better way to start the day than plunging in its crystalline waters, before enjoying an espresso in at the leafy table in the garden. Follow a path through the trees and you’ll reach the quaint village of Palazzone. Here you’ll find a little supermarket, some laid back family run restaurants, and a winery. Pick up a bottle of Tuscan red to enjoy at sunset in your garden, as you watch the rolling hills around you turn golden. You are well placed to explore some of Tuscany’s finest delights – the hot springs at San Casciano dei Bagni can be reached in fifteen minutes by car, while the castle of Fighine, with its dramatic views and preserved Mediaeval village is just two kilometres away. Your host has extensive knowledge of the area and is always on hand to provide the best tips and recommendations.
