We love Bowness and enjoyed our stay.

Great position with off road parking. Very clean and modern.

Adjoining 2 properties and the walls are quite thin. You could hear neighbours talking in the night. Also we could not use dishwasher as it leaked.

Steepness of the hill whilst pregnant - didn’t realise this when we booked. We could have done with a king size bed but that’s because we are tall!

Good,Very comfortable stay

We have stayed here several times and have always felt very comfortable ,the property is very clean with modern furnishings .

On previous occasions we have stayed 3 nights and requested being able to arrive and enter the property earlier than 4pm and have always had a message approximately 2pm saying able to enter, this time we could only commit to 2 nights and asked again if we could enter the property earlier than 4pm, we wanted to arrive in the Lakes early enough to have more than just one full day there as departure day requires you to leave at 10, our request was declined and received the message allowing entry at 4.02pm. we understand the cleaners have a job to do and do a great job! but when staying 2 nights you don’t get long in the property.

Perfect location for bowness,everything on your doorstep. Very nicely furnished & very clean . The beds were very comfy plus free parking.

Lovely short stay in Bowness, quiet neighbourhood but very hilly if you have mobility oissuesr breathing

All one level, parking on the drive, lovely bathroom. Mostly very clean. Plenty of good quality plates, dishes and kitchen tools etc. The living room is lovely too, having different chairs and sofas meant everyone could find their own level of comfort. The spacious hallway is very welcoming and the shoe tray an excellent idea.

The beds are both very low and very soft. (We all suffered sore backs in the morning). The built in wardrobes were basic cupboards, not wide enough to accommodate a standard coat hanger except on a slant. We all hated the plants in the bedrooms! The outside space was very grubby, one of the balustrades was hanging off.

Our third stay at this property, very comfortable, close to town there is a steep hill but not a problem for us, hope to return again.

Main bedroom could do with one of the walls painting as it looks like over time the chair has marked it. Not a bad mark against the property, these things happen.

The location was fantastic, just a few minutes walk to the lake front, shops and restaurants. The property was spotless and perfect for us! Added bonus of a phone charger built into the bedside lamps. Communication from Marta was great and check-in really easy.

The apartment has everything you might need, even a teapot which some apartments are lacking! Board games provided too. This was our second stay with our 11 year old grandson.

It's up a bit of a slope which can be a bind after a long walk. Also the bathroom washbasin plug doesn't work.

We were comfortable, had everything we needed, and was a great base for exploring different locations around the Lakes.

It’s a home from home! extremely well kept very modern comfortable everything you need for S/C holiday, perfect location for Windermere lake, perfect for getting around to alternative locations in the Lake District

We only had one thing that disturbed us and that was the fact that you could hear the neighbours talking and their tv going to bed at night, which was around 11pm onwards.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and decorated to a high standard which is what made me choose it in the first place. it felt like a home away from home and we were really pleased with the experience

really great location, if you are ok to walk up steep hill. Lovely rooms done out very nice and good to have some board games which we used.. The welcome pack is great full of really useful information

The perfect Lake District stay

This was by far the best holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in, I wish we had stayed longer. The place itself is in a fantastic location just up the hill from the lake and all the shops and with free parking that in itself makes it a great place to stay. However, the host and property are so fantastic it would not have mattered if it was in the middle of nowhere. I cannot wait to visit again.

Homely Hillcrest.

Beautiful accommodation definitely home from home. Would be great to stay for longer. We stayed 2 nights but would be great in summer. Parking on the drive and a quaint little sit out area to the side. The area was quiet and picturesque. The interior is modern and comfortable with games for families in the lounge. Even had a few Christmas touches here and there. The kitchen is spacious and bright with everything you could need. Bedrooms are roomy with good storage and plenty of good quality wooden coat hangers. Would definitely recommend a stay in this beautiful accommodation.

The only downsides and these are out of control of the owner, are that there is a fairly steep hill to negotiate to walk to the cente from the chalet and the actual road is very poorly lit at night.

Wonderful.

Beautifully presented accommodation a short walk from town centre. There was care taken with detail from the shower gels to chocolates on arrival. Thank you for making our stay so perfect.

This is really nit picking but would have liked a milk jug and the shower was a little stiff. But this is very very minor!!
