Amazing, comfortable stay! Great location!

Lovely location and everything we needed. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable. With added extras such as bottle of Prosecco, games to play, information on how to best utilise the heating etc were a great touch. We had a fab stay! Would highly recommend and we hope to stay again! The bed was lovely and comfortable too.

A lovely two bedroom apartment that we’re looking forward to booking again very soon.

The property was perfect for our short stay with everything we could wish for. It was equipped with everything you’d need for an extended stay if required though unfortunately our stay was only a short one.

We didn’t find anything we didn’t like about the property. Although it was located up a hill it was more than manageable and not very far at all from the centre of Bowles’s.

Very cosy, comfortable and family friendly.

We all like the homely feeling of the property. The hosts had thought of everything. There was a full kitchen, washing machine and the bathroom was modern. There were dog beds and dog treats. The second bedroom had twin beds and was a bit small but the rest of the property was a very good size with dining table and a couple of sofas. Plenty of room for a family. it also has a very nice view from the loungeroom.

Parking is off road but our big car only just fitted. The property is close to the town centre however it is up a steep hill, as older travellers it was a bit of a walk.

Lovely Lakeland apartment

Lovely apartment, clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice large, well-appointed kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Lovely large sitting room and dining area too, with TV, games and plenty of tourist info. Bathroom is very nice with a lovely deep bath. Handily located just outside Bowness (up a steep hill though)

The size was very good! Good size bathroom!! Living room good size!!

The noise from upstairs was awful this was an issue for us in regards to hearing the people running up and down the stairs. Garden needed a bit of TLC

Perfect night away in the perfect location.

Lovely little apartment which was well equipped and had some nice little perks! Kids loved the foozball table and arcade game! Lots of room for 6 people, clean and cozy. Beautiful views

The only thing I can say is the steep incline to the flat which did not affect myself but my parents did struggle.

Lovely apartment in a good location.

Lovely apartment in a great location. 10 minutes walk to the waterfront. The apartment is a good size. Plenty of room. Nice balcony with a lovely view. We enjoyed a glass of bubbly watching the sunset. There is a football table and space invaders arcade game. The beds were comfy. Only stayed 1 night as we were passing through but would have liked to stay longer. The bathroom was clean. Has a driveway too.

Nothing. The walk back from the waterfront is quite hilly so it would be a struggle for someone with mobility issues but fine if you have a car as there is a driveway or use a taxi.

We had a great stay and would return again

It was a great apartment with a well stocked kitchen. The owners had thought about everything and it had dog bowls and beds supplied , a travel cot for the baby . In the kitchen there were jars of sweets and doggie snacks and we were left a bottle of fizz . There is a lovely veranda with seats to enjoy looking over at a great view .

The garden could do with an overhaul to make it more of an attractive place to sit out . The apartment is at the top of a very steep hill so not really suitable for people with disabilities but there was a driveway for a car .

Very comfortable house - well equipped and within easy walk to Bowness Village although a slightly steep walk back up to the house.

The property is great, lots of little extras. Very clean, we arrived early and phoned the host to see if we could put our food in the fridge before we walked into Bowness, he was great and also told me some great places to eat.

Bowness is only a short walk but the walk isn’t for the faint hearted as it’s quite a steep hill.

the perfect stay

where do I start. beautiful accommodation. amazing to walk in and find a jar full of treats for my dog. such a nice welcome for us. the place is nipping clean and had everything we needed. Great location. great instructions from the owner. As Sunderland fans it was a massive help we had access to sky sports as the pubs were too busy for my shy labrador. so we ordered the best curry we've ever had from mela down the road and had a night in. perfect

Lovely place to stay!

A lovely place to stay after a week of hotels. Lovely lounge and bathroom.

As the owners mentioned, the steep hill is hard work! We drove down and parked in a carpark to make life a bit easier. However we knew this when we booked and actually the area was nice and quiet so not a bad thing!!

beautifully decorated apartment, very clean and comfortable with quirky additions like a games table. Also very generous leaving bottles of wine for guests etc.

The only slight downside was that we couldn't walk into town because of how steep the hill was, and parking in the town is a bit of a nightmare. It was a steeper/longer walk than we had anticipated.

Little gem of an apartment.

Lovely apartment, so big and spacious. Lovely finishing touches of a bottle of prosecco, various teas, and a bottle of milk left for us . The beds were comfy , netflix and sky to hand , dog blankets if needed , great shower and easy instructions how to enter the property. Would stay here again .

Not a problem for us but the bank is steep heading back up to the property so if you have mobility issues walking back up might be a problem for some .

What can I say, first holiday with our puppy, the place was fantastic, they even left me flowers, chocs and fizz for my birthday, what a lovely touch ! My puppy felt right at home, the garden was good, although my puppy is very small she didn’t venture too far. My daughter loved the teddy’s in her room. The property had everything we needed and any issues we had we felt could be sorted immediately by the helpful owner. Great location although the hill was tough to climb back up ! We would defo stay here again. Thanks Haydn

Super home from home for our Christmas break

Super home from home with everything needed for a lovely break. The Christmas tree was a wonderful touch as were the sweets, dog treats and coffee pods. Apartment was warm; beds comfy and rainfall shower fab. Fully fitted kitchen enabled us to shop and cook as we wanted. The dog beds were a lovely touch. The apartment is up a hill but a walkable hill. The views(when the fog cleared!) were spot on. Guess in the summer there'd be less of a view due to tall trees and foliage. Communication with the owner was great. Really would love to return

The location was excellent for getting around the lakes. We loved the view from the balcony. Sparkling clean which is so important to us! The complimentary milk, dog treats, tea selection and bottle of wine were a lovely touch.

Very spacious and stylish. Spotlessly clean. Stunning views A lovely touch of a bottle of Prosecco.. very well equipped ❤️

The only down side was the steep elevation to get back to the property.. Even the fittest would struggle with the hill.. We had to take a taxi that are not always readily available

Great apartment let down by minor niggles

The apartment is large and spacious with everything in it you could need for your stay, inside was very clean, it's location( a 10min walk) into Bowness was ideal and although their is a very steep hill to reach the apartment it's is ideally situated to everything.

On arrival the previous people's rubbish was left overflowing the recycling bins which did not give ideal first impressions, the lake view is a bit misleading as due to trees you can't see the lake at all, the water in the bathroom did not empty very quickly in either the bath/shower or sink meaning when brushing your teeth the water filled up in the basin and did not drain the same in the shower (you would be stood in a foot of water) not a major negative but for what I paid something that needs sorting, the apartment above had children and the noise of tiny feet or tantrums could be heard late at night and early morning which when on holiday meant no lazy mornings as we were woken at 7am by the people upstairs.
