Excellent facilities, clean, comfortable and very well equipped, everything you could need for a very pleasant stay. Full information was available in the cottage about its appliances and uses. Liz the host, also provided extensive information about Bishop's Castle and things to do in the area which proved very useful.

Liz couldn't have been more helpful. We arrived in Bishop's Castle late afternoon and thought this is a pretty place to stay the night, so booked the accommodation there and then for that evening. Within a few minutes of the booking being made I spoke to Liz who happily gave me the door code and explained that she would need to pop by to turn the water on and drop off some fresh milk. By the time we had had a look around and visited one of the great pubs in Bishop's Castle Liz had dropped of both the milk and a lovely cake. Although we were there only for an evening, the accommodation had everything and more for our stay. The information folder provided lots of details about the lovely little town and walks of varying lengths, that could be done from both the town and further afield. When we are next in Shropshire we will certainly be booking Liz's place again, and stay for a few days.

great location for the village / market town

bedroom was just as walked in from the street / lounge upstairs . very misleading as otherwise wouldn’t have booked it . shower did not work and hot water run out very quickly - not having a shower properly and not out of bucket is not great . the place also had a musky smell.
