Welsh man in Bishop's Castle
Nice cosy apartment in the pretty town of Bishop's Castle. Excellent hosts and communication with Gaynor. Loved the location near all the local amenities. Would love to return for leisure as was on a business trip, thank you!

Good
The booking was a 1st floor, 1 bed flat off the High Street with private entry. Its a small flat with the usual amenities and fittings including a kitchen/lounge with oven, fridge, TV etc. The shower room is a tight space but the shower itself worked well with a good cubicle and the bedroom offers storage space.
The flat is very basic, dated and modest but clean & fine in every respect. In our case we just didnt make much use of the facilities on offer as we only used the flat mostly for sleeping - so we didnt see the value for money during our stay of the kitchen/lounge area in the same way others may have used it for cooking and eating.

Very comforable apartment in a beautiful Bishops Castle
Great location on the quiet High street. I always managed to find parking on the street. Lounge was comfortable, TV was HD and had Netflix. Kitchen was well equipped, although there were no kitchen tongs, and no complimentary tea or coffee. Very large bedroom. Bathroom fairly small but more than adequate.
It's a matter of personal opinion, but the bed was harder than I am used to. Plus, this being an old house, the floor sloped a little, and of course so did the bed. It was a strange feeling.

Location is great and the keys were easy to collect. Bed was comfy.
The showers did not work so I had to bathe with a bucket.. the WiFi password was not available (often on the router)

Breakfast not included. Good location on the high street. Parking just around the corner. A good base if you are on a family holiday I would have thought. Bishops Castle was very pleasant, especially the gardens up at the back of the Castle Hotel.

Pleasant short stay in Bishops Castle
The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything provided for a pleasant stay. The hosts contacted me a few days before our arrival to provide details of where to collect the key.
The bath towels were a little small for two large people, haha, but that didn't distract from the overall stay.
