Lovely cabin helped us make some great memories over Christmas

Cosy, warm, quiet wooden cabin with a wonderful fireplace that made the Christmas evenings special. Sauna was also a fantastic facility to have. Great location for activities such as husky sledding, arctic sauna, and skiing. Helpful, friendly and responsive host - thanks for a lovely stay.

Good inside, outside - not so much.

Ok if you need just a place for a short stay, or of you stay in winter time (explanation will follow). Inside you will find all you need for your stay. Be aware, that amount of beds / sleeping places would fit 11 adults, but in generall they would hardly fit the house when not sleeping. :) Lake shore is very close to the house and looked really good for swiming, but did not test it due to cold weather.

If you stay there in summer or other not snowy time of the year (when everything outside is covered by snow), be aware that surroundings are very untidy, unmaintained, neglected.There are quite a lot of old / unused / broken or smth. things outside, grass not cut, etc. Some clutter is left inside as well. If you are travelling with toddlers, I wouldn't recommend this place. This place is quite good to stay inside, but if you want to use it for a nice stay at the lake, spend more time outside next to the house, then - no (at least as it is in August 2025).

Excellent little property. We loved our stay and wish we’d had longer. Beautiful location. Comfy beds. Welcome fire. Really well equipped little kitchen. Honestly all we needed. Thank you to the host who helped us when we locked ourselves out too!

A reasonable place with sauna for 2-3 nights stay

- the host had forgotten that we were coming, so there were no towels/bed linen. But upon calling, he realized that and offered us with free bed linen. - nice sauna and lake location for a comfortable swim - car charging places - well equipped kitchen

There is no facilty for the washing machine. This would matter if you stayed for more than 3 days. It didn't bother us as our stay was short.

Very happy, highly recommend.

Very nice place, nice hostess. She answered any questions immediately. Very nice house for relaxation. We were all very pleasantly surprised and highly recommend this place.

The only downside is that you have to pay separately for bed linen.

Haus am See

Nettes Haus mit wenig Nachbarschaft mit Seeanschluss, nur 20 Minuten zum Einkaufen. Die permanent Sauna war fantastisch.

Leider kein Einstieg in See oder k ein kleiner Steg vorhanden.

Schönes Haus in guter Ausgangsposition zum Nationalpark mit vielen Wandermöglichkeiten.

Herverragende Lage zum Nationalpark. Schön am See gelegen. Timo hat immer schnell auf Anfragen reagiert. Die Sauna war hervorragend :-).

Etwas nervig waren die Lampen mit Bewegungsmelder :-). Man musste sich in der Küche viel bewegen damit man nicht im plötzlich im Dunkeln stand.

Sijainti hyvä. Lyhyt matka Muonioon. Rauhallinen paikka, luonto ja järvi lähellä.

Mökin ei olisi pitänyt olla varattavissa kyseisenä päivänä, kun omistaja oli kesälomalla ulkomailla ja hän ei ollut muistanut sulkea ja poistaa mökkiä varauslistalta. Tästä syystä vahvistuksen ja avainkoodin saaminen vaikeutui. Minun piti soittaa henkilökohtaisesti mökin vuokraajalle, joka oli ulkomailla saadakseni mökin avainkoodin.
