Excellent location, great house with full amenities: we had a great week!

Easy communication with the host, who even stopped by one evening to say hi. Excellent location a bit away from the village/'crowds', but close enough for easy access to the shops. Very well equipped, not only the apartment, but also the kitchen: all utensils were present and even all basics like, oil, salt, pepper and some extras were already provided.

Beautiful cabin with a lovely owner

Beautifully located by the lake and within walking distance to the centre of Äkäslompolo. It was very well equipped and spacious which meant we could cook for ourselves and relax after a day out in the snow.

The perfect spring holiday

The apartment is very nice, cozy and well equipped. Everything you need. The location is perfect, close to the lake, as a starting point for exploring the region with the national park. We stayed 1 week in March with a family with 2 kids. The variation between excursions and staying in the apartment was the perfect spring holiday for us. (There is a shed with plenty of toys for children to play in the snow around the house.) Our host Ingemar was very helpful in giving advice! Our best excursions were a snowshoe trail in the national park and a snowscooter tour. We were lucky to see the northern lights on the lake!

Quite little to do for small children right out side the apartment f.ex. no usable play ground that is not under the 100 cm on snow.

Perfect place to stay. Northern Lights during clear nights, skiing tracks nearby, quiet place.

The landlord was always ready to make the changes if needed (e.g sauna times) and also a text message away if we needed him, responded quickly. The door code makes it easy and comfortable to arrive and leave. There was enough place to park. Walking and skiing tracks nearby. Possible to go shopping on foot. Northren Lights in the sky if you go outside after the great sauna. For us it was second time staying there and we have fallen in love with the house and Lapland.

we had the most amazing stay in this fantastic apartment, perfect for our large family. everything we needed was supplied by the apartment. we couldn't have wished for anything more. excellent location for a beautiful stay in lapland. would definitely stay here again. only 25 minute walk to the local supermarket. the host was fantastic, great communication and all information was provided in advance. would highly recommend.

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped apartment

Very spacious and nicely decorated apartment. Kitchen was very well equipped, and the washing machine with built in dryer made our life a lot easier. There is also a separate ski/storage room that is handy if you have outdoor equipment. Everything worked perfectly and we had a very enjoyable stay using the apartment as a base to explore the area. Warmly recommended for families especially if there are more than 4 people as the apartment has 3 bedrooms.

Superbe séjour

La maison est très belle, dans un quartier très calme et joli, à 2 pas du lac (parfait pour les aurores boréales), des pistes de ski de fond (on part skis aux pieds 😉) et pas loin des commerces en voiture. Équipements au top, avec le sauna privatif. Nous avons vu de superbes aurores depuis le quartier ! Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, cosy et confortable !

Majoitteessa oli todella kattava käyttö- ym. ohjeistus. Tilavat makuuhuoneet, olohuoneet ja keittiö. Asiallinen välineistö ruuanlaittoon. Siisteys oli ensiluokkaista.

Kylpyhuone ja sauna olivat huoneiston muuhun kokoon nähden ahtaat - ei mikään saunojan paratiisi. Ei kuivauskaappia, mikä oli kyllä etukäteenkin tiedossa.

Super locatie, je loopt zo naar het meer en erover heen. Huisje met alles erop en eraan. Koffie/thee etc. Sauna :-)

De airco/verwarming maakte best wat lawaai in de kleine kamer. Deze hangt buiten.
