Loved how stocked and ready the house was with even the simple things like dish soap even! Really appreciated having those little extras

This house has a great location on the river. We really enjoyed the entertainment provided by the waterfowl outside the sunroom, ducks and ducklings, Canada geese, and an eagle.The house is unique in that you feel that someone loaned you their house for a visit, it is furnished for living, not just for renting. Anything you might think you would need is provided. There was plenty of room for our party of 6 (2 couples and 2 singles).The large lot the house sits on insures that you have plenty of privacy. It's a short walk into the business district of the village of Baldwinsville. It's a short drive to the Finger Lake district and to many wineries and apple orchards.The owner quickly responded to a couple of questions that we had. We would definitely stay in this house again if we were in the area.

The house had a lot of stuff on all of the tables and any spaces available. The steps going to the living room and upstairs were very steep and covered with carpet which made them slippery and dangerous. The house was in a great location and had enough room for entertainment. It wasn’t as clean as I had hoped it to be.

Overall, this is a nice property with nice amenities. However, it lacks safety features in many places. My Mother fell on the unmarked tile transition from one level to another and ended up with a black eye, a cut eyebrow, and a bruised elbow. When I spoke to the owner, he didn't seem overly concerned. He agreed to refund my Mother's money for Thursday August 28th, so she didn't feel obligated to return to the house (nobody wanted her there by herself, and the rest of the family was leaving). He also agree to mark that dangerous transition and send me a picture of it. He has done neither. Again--the house itself is a nice place and the view is great. However, the house has several safety issues in the form of missing railings and unmarked level transitions. Sarah Fredette Peters (daughter of renter)
