Borgo Santa Caterina

Very clean, very comfy bed, facilities were great too. The location was fantastic. Although very near the market it was very quiet. Gabriele (host) and his lovely father were just so welcoming and generous.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. We were first greeted by Gabriele who gave us a tour of the apartment and started us off with some information on the area and great dining recommendations. Then his lovely parents dropped by and gave us the warmest welcome with some delicious treats, it really made us feel at home and we loved feeling like we could run into some friendly faces coming back and forth to the apartment! The apartment itself was beautifully styled and decorated, and yet everything was still designed for maximum comfort. It had everything we could possibly need for our stay. There was more than enough towels, a washer, fridge full of water and drinks, yummy snacks, toiletries and great coffee! Gabriele was super accommodating with a late check out which was really helpful for us as we had a later flight. The location was in a beautiful tucked away little street but still walking distance to the main town centre, not to mention the lively market every morning just steps away! There is nothing we can fault about this place, we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Catania. Thanks for an unforgettable stay :)

The accommodation is in the city centre of Catania very close to the main street “Via Etnea”, the Bellini Park and the Market on Piazza Carlo Alberto. It’s very cosy and modern and clean. It is also safe! The owners lives around the corner and really cares for the guests. We were surprised with fresh fruits, cookies and a fridge full of water and beverages (including Italian beer 😉). The next morning, they brought us bread, olives, and cheese. So kind and caring.

I personally missed a dishwasher.
