Very pretty little sanctuary in Xochimilco!

I loved my stay at Casa Margarita. The way they've decorated the room is really cute and felt/smelled fresh and clean. It was the perfect amount of space. Fan worked well. Xochimilco is a pretty and quiet neighbourhood. Nice, clean, modern bathroom with hot water. It is outside of the room but that was fine for me. Excellent value for money and kind, responsive staff.

Nothing that really bothered me at all. Things that may bother others were that the light in the room is a bit dim, but using a lamp helps. The tap had come a bit loose in the bathroom, and there was a tiny bit of noise at night from a nearby bar but this stops pretty early. These are all very minor and more of an FYI - this place was lovely! Oh yes - distance from the rest of town makes for a bit of walking in case mobility is a problem for some.

Cheap and cheerful but has plumbing issues. Super hosts. Nice rooms. Not really walk to town.

Spacious room with a kitchen diner attached. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of free coffee and water. Bed fine. Super nice host who was very responsive. We stayed a week and they sent a cleaner midway without being asked.

Our bathroom had a drain problem. They solved the shower but the sink was never really ok (connected to the toilet and it is probably a plumbing issue). Also they had problems with hot water if everyone tried to shower (3 rooms). They turned up the heater but it was still variable. Our suite had a "balcony" but it's not really a sit out place with a view. The table outside in a patio is one level down - available for use but not a walk out (not a worry for us but just so you know) The street is quiet and safe - you can park a car right outside without a problem. the location is a bit far from everything. there are a couple of bars reasonably close but generally you need to drive in or get a taxi. I knew it was not in teh centre, centre when I booked but wasnt aware of the hills. The price compensated but you have to factor in the cost of parking or taxi into your budget.

Great little room in the xochimilco neighborhood. The neighborhood is quiet and we greatly enjoyed the amazing bakeries and restaurants in the xochimilco neighborhood. It’s a short walk to the centro but we liked walking off our heavy meals. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. The AC was a life saver in the April heat. We stayed for a week. For the price, this is a great deal!

The bed and sheets were not so comfortable and the bathroom was a little smelly

Schön ruhig und bequem

Die Lage ist super und schön ruhig. Es war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Managerin hat sich täglich informiert, ob wir noch etwas brauchen und schnell reagiert, als wir 1x versehentlich den Schlüssel im Zimmer eingesperrt hatten.

Een strijd om warm water

Het ligt niet al te ver van het centrum. Het is even goed doorstappen, maar doenbaar.

Amper warm water! We moesten echt strijden om warm water te hebben. Sommige dagen moest je een goed kwartier tot twintig minuten wachten totdat het kwam, maar andere dagen had je gewoon niks. We dachten: okay, geen drama. Er is een kookplaat, laten we gewoon water opwarmen. De kookplaat deed het niet... We hebben dan maar de waterkoker gebruikt, maar er waren ook geen grote kookpotten om het water in te gieten... Qua comfort ons slechtste hotel in Mexico. De wifi is heel slecht.

Casa Margarita è davvero tranquilla. Posizione ottima per vedere un quartiere poco frequentato ma carinissimo di Oaxaca e star fuori dai giri troppo turistici. Il centro è raggiungibile con una camminata di 15 minuti

Linda habitación en Oaxaca

El cuarto que tuvimos estaba muy limpio, cómodo, tiene aire acondicionado y ventilador, por lo que era fácil refrescarse después de un día de turismo. Nos quedamos en una habitación en el segundo piso por lo que había que subir escaleras para llegar. El barrio es lindo, a pocas cuadras del centro, muy seguro estacionar afuera.

Super Unterkunft, gerne wieder!

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top! Die Lage ist super, nicht direkt im lauten Zentrum sondern etwas abseits aber dennoch ist alles fußläufig erreichbar. Der Kleine Innenhof ermöglicht es auch draußen zu sitzen. Alles war sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als wir ein Taxi zum Busbahnhof brauchten wurde sich umgehend darum gekümmert. Wir würden wieder herkommen :)

Das eigene Badezimmer war nicht in unserem Zimmer integriert sondern in einem Raum zwei Türen weiter, was z.B. nachts etwas unpraktisch war da auf dem Flur noch 2 weitere Zimmer waren. Nicht weiter schlimm, jedoch war dies bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich. Die anderen beiden Zimmer haben wohl das Bad im Raum.

À éviter car logement non conforme à notre réservation

Nous n’avons pas séjourné dans ce logement car il n’était pas conforme à notre réservation : au lieu d’une chambre de 20 m2 avec salle de bain privative, on nous a imposé une chambre de 10 m2 avec une salle de bain dans le couloir commun desservant 3 chambres. Bien que le propriétaire nous avait dit qu’il nous rembourserait notre séjour, il n’en a rien fait et Booking ne nous a pas indemnisé, cautionnant ainsi l’annonce mensongère et la malhonnêteté de son propriétaire
