The location is excellent! The site is mostly quiet, features a large, equipped kitchen, and internet works well. The colectivo to Cholula leaves from and returns to the doorway! Shops, markets, street food, restaurants, zócalo are all close.
The showers spray water everywhere. The walls are peeling paint. The rooms can be quite chilly. Some improvements would greatly add to the overall stay experience.

We stayed in a private double room with private bathroom. It was a simple spot to sleep in a nice location. They do have hot showers, but the hot water is only from 7-11am and 7-11pm. They have a cute downstairs outdoor seating/lounging area.
The inside of our room was extremely simple - a little room on top of the main building up some precarious steps. The room was completely white walls with little except for a bed. It would add a lot of character to the room if they painted the walls some different colors or added a small mural I think! The bed was also very basic- kind of cheap/rough sheets .. but we slept comfortably enough and warm. The walls were thin in the private double rooms but the first night we were lucky and didnt have neighbors. Im a deep sleeper so I wasnt aware of anything the second night but my boyfriend said he could hear everything that was going on next door….

Nice location, friendly staff, free water in the kitchen and very hot water in the shower
We had to climb a very steep staircase to reach our room. It was hard to open the door and made a loud noise. The sheets, blankets and towels were washed but very stained from previous use. The worst part is that the room had zero insulation and there was a big crack between the walls, and much cold was getting into the room. We were there in January and we froze at night, even with 2 blankets. However, when we asked for an additional one, the staff was very friendly and immediately brought us. But it was not comfortable to stay in the room with this temperature, the outside was feeling warmer.
