Restaurant in the hotel. Excellent bakery/cafe Esperanza right across street. Ten min. walk to main square.
Many shops nearby. Clean room. Very traditional decor in hotel gives a true Mexican feel. Good front desk.
About a 15 min. taxi ride to the main Puebla bus station (CAPU).
Lift (elevator) was broken and out of service for one day. Not much natural light in room.

Proximity to the centre. Room is nice and airy. Ample wardrobe space.
No shower head. Mattress unbalanced. Very poor wifi.

We enjoy staying in a central location in a city which gives us access within walking distance of our hotel.
Our room was clean and comfortable plus quiet. There was a kitchen to use which was clean and the staff member was available to speak with us in English. The rooftop balcony allowed us to sit and enjoy a drink after a long day of walking.
We enjoyed our stay and there was nothing that was not to like.

The room was a good size. I enjoyed the traditional decor, shampoo (no conditioner), watercooler in the hallwayn friendly staff and reasonably priced good quality on-site restaurant.
The bathroom had an odd smell. The toilet flush stopped working (although it was promptly fixed on request). There was no fridge in the room. The walls are paper thin, so you get the pleasure of hearing your neighbours clearly. Some of the TV channels were fuzzy.
