Aufgrund Personalausfall gab es kein Frühstück in der Unterkunft. Anstelke gab es einen wenig grosszügigen 8 EUR Gutschein für eine Bäckerei. Das war kein adäquater Ersatz. Die Strasse vor der Lodge ist eher laut.

This place exceeded our expectations – we really enjoyed our stay here and would’ve loved to have stayed longer. The location is great, right in the old town, just a short 5-10min walk to the waterfront and all the shops and restaurants. Parking is free and easy, just out in the street or in nearby parking areas – always plenty of free spaces. Our room was amazing! We opted for the room with sea view (#7) and had a balcony with the most amazing views over the town and Pico volcano across the straits. We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the view and the sunshine. Our room was large, bright, clean, and airy with plenty of windows and storage space. It felt very luxurious. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it to other travellers.

The TV was small, non-smart, and with limited programming. Needs an upgrade. A small fridge in the room would have been appreciated. There is a bit of street noise (cars driving by) so if you’re a light sleeper you can make use of the provided earplugs. The breakfast was decent, though we didn’t really like the cramped, close-quarter, community style bench seating. We would’ve preferred our own table.
