We liked the location close to the center of Porto and the proximity of great restaurants and good grocery stores. It was pretty quiet for being in a big city and the neighbors were respectful.
The apartment was spacious and modern enough for a short stay and the host was responsive and helpful by email. The lockbox allowed us flexibility with the check-in and check-out process.
From the reviews we knew the bathroom facilities would be unique and small. The toilet is literally located in a closet, which makes it awkward to use. But it was okay for a four-day stay. The shower stall being inside the bedroom took some getting used to as well.
The kitchen is very small, but functional. Again, good enough for a short stay.
While we liked this accommodation during our short stay in Porto, it would not be adequate for us for over a week.

The location was great, not in a noisy neighborhood, close to small markets and cafes as well as restaurants just around the corner. A few minute walk away from main downtown area, and in a very space place. The room was perfect, it had everything you needed except for utensils lol!

We've booked the Superior Studio. Great location and a spacious apartment on the top floor with a balcony. The kitchen has the basics of what's needed incl. salt & pepper and we had a few tea bags and two bags of instant coffee. Breakfast is served in one of two coffees a short walk away and serves coffee, tea, orange juice, croissants, pastel de nata and a few more options. No eggs.
The apartment was very noisy as it's not completely closed to the hall of the building. There is some glass wall / door, but it's partly open and let's in a lot of noise (see photo). So when any of the guests from the other apartment is coming back, you'll hear everything - same when the cleaning personal is working. It feels like a lack of privacy, as you keep hearing people talking and making noises and sometimes it sounds like they are coming up the stairs to your apartment.
Air conditioning only works in the living room. So at hot days it gets really hot in the small bedroom and it's not cooling down much during the day. The living room has a small bed with a basic mattress, but due to the noise and the big glass ceiling (see photo), it's difficult to sleep in there
There is no elevator and three flights of stairs to walk up. Not suitable for the elderly or with heavy luggage.
Only short-term parking on the street (max. 2 hours). Parking advice from the place was leading us to a closed parking garage, so best to figure out parking before arrival.
A bit basic equipment in the apartment, many things are very cheap like the lamps and a few things have seen better days like the floor in the bathroom. It could use a bit of make over. And if they could also solve the air-conditioning and noise issues it could make a really great apartment.
