8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Comfortable quiet hotel about a ten minute walk from the cathedral. Room was compact but comfortable. Breakfast had a good range of hot and cold items. Reasonable cost. Overall very positive experience.
Porridge (or oats) at breakfast would have been good. There is not really a proper bar (just a communal area in reception with a large TV) which was a shame. Breakfast area did get crowded at times.

Room was clean … quite spacious… we were on floor 6 next to the pool. Check in staff were lovely
Breakfast staff were miserable… on the first morning we were just told to sit anywhere… no-one came to ask if we wanted to order any hot food

Location and NH clean concept heritage
Gym is useless and the facility is overpriced
